It took me very little time from the time I opened the box to start using this product.I attached the Christmastree and the outside lights to it and now, I can turned them on and off from the bedroom or wherever I am. I really love this product.

Perform Fine, but still large enough to block other sockets
I tried both the circular and rectangular smart plugs: both are smaller than a regular sized smart plug, but both end up blocking off at least part of another plug on a surge protector that has spaced out sockets. I had to buy 13amp short extensions for surge protectors to use the plugs without losing other sockets. All my equipment has lower amperage than smart plug and extension, but amperage and watts is something to keep in mind, as overloading can cause a fire, or trip the breaker.Speaking of amperage, these smart plugs are 10amps. Another reviewer stated there plug caught fire after using it with a space heater; it is highly advised to not use smart plugs on space heaters, air conditioners, or any appliance that can suddenly draw high amperage during use. Space heaters and air conditioners can run at 20 amps at times, which will result in a burned out plug or fire if used with these 10 amp smart plugs. Unfortunately, that reviewers outcome was a result of user error and failure to read the instructions, or at the very least, read the description on Amazon, which states these plugs are 10amps. A person does not need to be a electrician to inform themselves on power requirements ans compatibility of objects, they just have to be willing to look at numbers and make sure they match, or that the item being used does not surpass capabilities of the smart plug.; particularly if care about not losing your home or other property to a fire. These plugs support up to 1100 watts, which means items with an output higher than 1100 watts should not be used with these plugs. These plugs are best used for lamps and fans, which what I am using them for.In terms of connection, so far, I haven’t had any issues. They seem to be good plugs that are convenient if you have an outlet or surge protector that has a lot of space between the socket, otherwise, you lose a socket. The price for these was good when I got them: around $10 for the rectangular ones, and $9 for the round plugs. The price seems to fluctuate though. I will likely buy more of these plugs so I can keep the majority of my items on a single app, as opposed to having to use several different apps.

Quick and easy set up
Took less than 5 mins to set up on my phone and with my google home. Great for Christmas trees and indoor lights. It does make a noise when turning on and off but nothing too disruptive.
