Works fine with HomeSeer and Z-Wave hub but no pass-through outlet.
These small plus installed easily to my HomeSeer Z-Wave system. As is not uncommon, I had to go through a “remove” process first with 2 of them because they had been connected to another system – probably for testing before shipping – but the remove and add went smoothly. When plugged directly into a wall socket they do not block the adjacent outlet, but that might not be true if plugged into a power strip or device that has a different orientation of the outlet. Also, there is no “Pass Through” outlet that some larger Z-Wave plug have.

Works well – been very reliable
Have this connected into a fairly large zwave network with a UD Eisy controller. Paired easily and has been very reliable with no dropped commands etc.

Installed easily, works perfectly
I am using this with a Homeseer system, it included on the first try, Homeseer recognized it and I was able to setup automation very easily, maybe 15 minutes for the entire process. It is fairly distant from my controller but still responds quickly. My use for this is to save electricity on an enormous tool battery charger bank in our garage. Every morning it turns on for 2 hours to charge the batteries, also the button on the side can be pushed to turn chargers on for 2 hours at any time. I didn’t use the timer built into the device for this though, I just set up an event. ( if it turns on, turn it off in 2 hours, easy)

Good features, range shorter than expected
Pair with Home Assistant OK, but don’t seem to be able to reach as far as other zwave devices I have. Bit of a struggle to get close enough for S2.

Adds Range and Stability to Z-wave
I added a couple of these to my network to control holiday lighting, and I found that their range-extending function improved the stability of the network overall. They’re easy to add, too!

So simple
Gotta love these plug and play smart outlets. Gone are the old mechanical timers.
Hal Skoog –
It has a very short range.
It worked fine within 4 feet of my controller, but the controller was unable to communicate with it on the next room. My Lutron units work fine all over the house. Returning it.

Not the easiest to pair but works ok
Needed to get additional software add ons for my SmartThings setup so it would work. They were a pain to integrate into my network and very slow – at first – to turn on/off. After repairing my network a few times, they seem to work well.
