How PIR Motion Sensor Light Bulbs Work
The light sensor compares the LUX of the ambient light to the default value. If the ambient light is higher than the light sensor’s LUX value, The light bulb will remain off. Otherwise, it will activate motion detection and auto turn on when movement is detected then switch off automatically if no additional motion is detected within 30 seconds. e.g., in the daytime, the motion sensor bulb will stay off. Only when the environment is dark the motion sensor will activate the light when movement is detected.
Same size as standard E26 A19 bulbs and can directly fit into your light fixtures.
Pir motion sensor cover a larger area but detects movements reliably and precisely. The detection range can be adjusted by changing the mounting height of the bulb.
Infrared PIR motion sensor detects the temperature sudden change of an object. it should be kept away from other light bulbs or heat sources such as heating, air conditioning, refrigerators, and stoves. Otherwise, the bulb will not work properly.
Automatically switches on the lights for you as soon as you enter the room and turn off when you leave. Not only is this more economical, but will extend the life of the bulb.

Simple alternative to Smart Bulbs
Love these! With smart home technology I forgot about “old school” motion sensor light bulbs i couldn’t figure out a way to make my closet light go on when i used the closet with Alexa. I tried linking the smart bulb with a motion detector device of my Ring system but too many bugs with that. This bulb works easily and simply. It turns on when i enter the closet and off shortly after i leave. The light is very bright, too. I won’t have to think about wasting power by forgetting to turn off the closet light for awhile.

May work better with greater elevation
These will go down as a novelty purchase in our house. Simply screw them in as any other E26/27 bulb, so easy to install.They work well in a couple rooms during the daytime where very little outside light gets in. Once there’s enough daylight coming in, they won’t work at all because they’re motion detection but also detect the onset of darkness.Only thing is that our ceilings aren’t as high as 10 feet (instructions recommend a height of between 10 and 13 feet). Maybe that’s why the light only comes on when you’re walking closer under the bulb.

I didn’t know what to expect since there were so few reviews but I was wowed! And you can’t beat the price!! I ordered a 2nd pack as soon as I finished installing the first two. Needless to say I will be buying a 3rd box just to have, lol.

Low cost motion sensitive led bulb
Works OK but brighter than I wanted for my small room. Shading it is not easy since you must not cover the sensor on top. Otherwise seems like it is good. I suggest getting a cooler color.

Close motion needed for activation
I love the bulb; personally, I prefer that it turns of after a short time of no detected motion. I got it for use in our pantry. The only drawback that takes one star away is that both my husband and I have to stretch our hands up and wave them around pretty close to the bulb itself to get it to activate (so it’s not super sensitive). This may be an issue with the set up of our space itself and the desired application, as the light fixture sticks straight out from the wall and not the ceiling, and we have high ceilings. (Note: when I say fixture, there is nothing covering the bulb at all. So there isnt any interference with the “line of sight” of the sensor itself. May be less than ideal aesthetically, but I don’t have a reason to look that far up the wall in the pantry to perceive the light bulb itself in the first place.)But! Could be a good thing to keep in mind depending on how you want to use this product. Definitely worth the price, super bright, and I love that it’s shatter-proof. Storage of the extra bulb is not anxiety inducing.
