Extensive research, stomach and heart disability, best on the market
FODMAP approved. I have food allergies and a heart disability that calls for careful choices and research before consuming something. I drink this every morning (did lots of research and consulted with my gastro and it’s the best on the market) I usually have a backup and buy the smaller amount for freshness so when I went to reorder I was shocked to see it’s no longer available. Rd customer service. Jessica was awesome and they’re not sure it’ll come back but I was assured it was not pulled off the shelves due to contamination (I was hospitalized after using another brand and they had to pull it off the shelves to investigate). Please bring back soon! I’ll order a few lol. Running lower and lower on the one I have but instead of ordering another kind I’m waiting till I must order more protien powder checking in daily to see if this is back yet. Could be less expensive but worth it considering it’s pretty much keeping me alive. That’s priceless. I’ve tried diff brown rice protien powders for over a decade and this is hands down best I’ve had. It is heads above other powders as it is fresh and has a high balance of nutrients and Omega profile. My weight goes up and down so I need that good fat to help with skin elasticity. I am in process of becoming a certified dietitian. So much research. It is the next obvious step. Please bring this product back soon! Happy clean eating! (Update -when it was first return to Amazon there was only a 5 lb available so I immediately ordered it. I’m so glad I did had no idea what was to come in these uncertain times but as long as I had my protein I felt confident and comfortable but I wouldn’t starve. I also have noticed that many people have said it has a cardboard grimy taste. That may be true if you haven’t been trying plain brown rice protein for 10 years now. It’s absolutely normal for it to have that tastes and usually indicates that it is fresh. However this particular protein blends so well into liquids that I don’t feel the need to put milk into them or almond milk or any kind of flavoring actually. I put mine in 12 oz of cold coffee and it makes it so creamy I don’t need any kind of flavoring or cream to make it enjoyable. now the only thing I have to worry about is not chugging it too fast because it’s so amazingly good. I highly recommend choosing your favorite coffee and saving enough for a shake the next day and you using that as your liquid for your protein powder. Not many people have heard of that but I’ve discovered that it is a very low-maintenance and fun way to consume this powder 🙂 choose was a fun coffee flavor! but you must shake it for one minute I make Google time me and I shake that thing up until it’s nice and creamy and I wake up looking forward to drinking this everyday. Now I am subscribed and saving at 5 lb containers when I wasn’t sure before it was only buying one pound containers. I know this is the best on the market please do not let comments about it’s tasting dry or like cardboard turn you off. There are ways to get around this and I used to think it was a bad thing but it turns out it just means it’s fresh and that’s a very good thing 🙂 )

It’s good.
I started making chocolate protein powder shakes (I add my own organic cocoa & unflavored protein powder) for breakfast in 2020 when the pandemic began. Originally I tried a few different whey protein powders I really liked, as they had a nice milk-tasting sweetness and stuck with them for two years. I came to learn that although the whey proteins were great, they also included a respectable amount of cholesterol- which is fine unless you have high cholesterol and heart disease, which I do.I experimented with pea protein which wasn’t bad but had a taste that just didn’t seem to fit right with a chocolate shake, it also lacked the slight sweetness of the whey powder. On amazon suggestions I see ‘Organic rice protein powder’. “Hmmm… I didn’t even know there was such a thing as rice protein”. So I order it and made my first shake today. It was great, and has the slight sweetness the pea protein was lacking. Naturally it’s a different flavor from the whey protein (which I still prefer the taste of) but it’s quite nice, blends well and has a taste profile that fits pretty nicely in my chocolate shake. All with the same amount of protein and nutrients but without any of the cholesterol. The only real drawback I’ve come across is that the rice powder is extremely fine/lightweight, which causes it to take easily to the air when you open the container. Scooping it out creates a small cloud of dust that often gets all over my countertop and causes me to breathe some of it in.Overall though it’s become my go to powder.

Doesn’t blend; very chalky; tastes bad
-No amount of stirring or shaker cup mixing by hand will get this protein powder to blend. I had to break out the Vitamix, and even then, my smoothies end up chalky because of this powder’s texture.-This is my first brown rice protein powder so maybe it’s simply the nature of the beast (vs whey proteins that blend well and easily by just stirring with a spoon) so maybe we have to factor that in.-It’s really chalky / powdery so that even after blending in the Vitamix, you’ll get a puff of powder when you open the lid which is essentially wasted money.-To my palate, it tastes bad but that’s subjective. I’ve tried to bury the taste now with pears, cherries, cucumber, coconut flakes, macadamia nut milk, coconut water, coconut milk, lettuce, and, still, I end up with an unpleasant chalky taste. Maybe if I buried it in ice cream? …. but that would defeat the point of a protein powder which is my goal.-Lastly, it hurts my stomach but that might be because it’s a sprouted brown rice and it’s the sprouting portion that’s hurting me vs this particular product, so bear in mind if you have trouble w/sprouted/fermented products.-I do not recommend this product.

Vegan Source Protein
Very good protein source, without all the added non-essential ingredients. It says unflavored but the flavor is there and it’s not good, can easily be flavored with some amino-acids supplement form GNC. I used it as my main source for the duration of the 5lb package which lasted me about 5 weeks. Would I buy again? Maybe, but I’ll def try the other Naked products see which one I like more.Pros: pure protein extracted form brown rice, mixes well, minimum calories , no artificial sweeteners, healthy.Cons: very messy like flour goes everywhere, taste is not good, scoop is too small, gave me hot gas as well as another buyer mentioned here.

Great alternative to whey or pea protein
I have allergies that prohibit my ability to use typical protein powders. My nutritionist suggested I try hemp or rice protein powder. The hemp was disgusting and bitter. But, this rice protein powder is pretty tasteless and in my opinion, tolerable. Iâve been using it for a month and will continue to do so daily. I am so glad I found this option!!

This protein powder is great. Has no taste and isn’t gritty as some protein powders I’ve had. I have read the comments of people saying it’s gritty but I feel that’s only because they have been consuming products where it dissolves with additives. I was taking coconut protein powder prior to this one and I tell you THAT is gritty! I love that it doesn’t have a bunch of added stuff in it as well. It’s really hard to find protein powders that I can consume since I am allergic to whey, spinach and added thickeners and fake sugars don’t agree with me. Yay for Naked Rice! Only down side I noticed was that it said it was 75 servings. I know my servings were on the larger side, but it didn’t last me to 60 even.

Itâs a great product and it goes down really well. I have trouble with anything egg or dairy and even some plant proteins (food sensitivities and IBS) but this sits really well.I found that Carnivore beef protein sat really heavy but this was light and easy to drink. It blends really well but basically just tastes like sidewalk chalk. Just mix it with whatever as itâs practically tasteless. My only qualm is that these vegan protein products are WAY overpriced and I feel itâs taking financial advantage of people with dietary restrictions and medical conditions. An unfortunate side effect of a capitalistic culture. But other than than, I highly recommend it.

Great product, container is way to big, it’s barely half full. Really wasting a lot of plastic.

Its grainy texture and taste is not something I really like.. I made a smoothie with banana and pineapple and it just overwhelms the whole taste. and it needs 2scoops compared to Whey protein products. Not worth the money Iâd say.
