【2X Telephoto Lens for Phone】 The lens attaches to the phone’s main camera and double the focal length to let you take clear, detailed, and stunning photos without using digital zoom, perfect for wildlife, portraits, and landscapes
【Why You Need This Phone Lens】 While most smartphones offer digital zoom, it reduces image quality by cropping the picture. In contrast, an optical zoom lens magnifies the subject without sacrificing clarity. At the right distance, it keeps your subject clear and authentic while naturally blurring the background
【17mm Thread Phone Lens Clip】 The kit includes a phone camera lens clip to securely connect the lens and compatible with iPhone 16 Pro Max iPhone 15 Pro Max 14 13 Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and other smartphones for quality photography and filming. The lens is also suitable for NEEWER phone cages, phone cases, and backplate accessories with 17mm threads. A 67mm filter adapter is included for filter attachment
【Superior HD Optical Performance】 The precision optical design and large focal length zoom ensure sharp and clear images. Its larger aperture creates a natural blur effect, while 6 elements in 5 groups prevent distortion and dispersion while improves light transmission. Multiple coatings reduce dispersion while boosting saturation and contrast
【Robust & Lightweight Structure】 The robust black anodized aluminum alloy shell is resistant to rust and scratches. Lightweight at 4oz/113g, the lens is ideal for extended use. Note: Before use, please clean the main camera and additional cameras of your phone. Vignetting may occur depending on phone models. In this case, please tighten the lens or zoom the camera magnification to 1.1x or more

Impressive Lens, Questionable Clip
I ordered this not really having high expectations. I have never been impressed with third third-party lens option for the iPhone. This Neewer lens not only performed well but it caused me to change my opinion on third-party lens options for the phone. I would recommend that you consider a case for your phone with a 17mm lens option. The clip is good for those who do not want to have a dedicated case or are looking for a quick option but the clip can be difficult to align perfectly between the phone’s lens and the adapter. If not aligned properly you will not get optimal performance from your lens which is why I recommend a dedicated 17mm thread case. That said, the lens itself is impressive. I am not certain the Microscope image is something I will use often but the quality of the image caused me to go out and get a case (as mentioned) and I bought both a wide angle and the 18mm Probe lens from Neewer. Both of these lens options provide images that I can not acquire with my larger mirrorless camera. I do some product photography and these additional lens options open up a lot of creative opportunities. While I am not convinced I will use this microscope lens frequently, it did produce a very clear image and worked as expected once I mounted it to a case with a 17mm thread. The on-lens light is a necessity so make certain it is charged and you do need to push the lens right up against the object you are capturing. This can provide a bit of a challenge with items that are not perfectly flat (see leaf video above).

Cool gadget.
You will need to know what exactly you want to take a photo of, the mode you are using, and the magnification level you are looking for. I was using a Galaxy S24 which has three lenses. If you use portrait mode, you wonât get the same level of magnification as in photo mode. Using the zoom function on the screen of the phone you can switch between lenses on the phone and will have to adjust the device to the next lens. Go deeper with the magnification and you will have to move the device again. It is easy enough to switch to the next level. I open the clamp as wide as I can until I see the pinhole light in the phone screen. I lower the device to the lens making sure to keep the light in the center until it closes. There is no manual focus, you will have to move the phone closer, or further away to get the item in focus. Using the third lens at high focus it was hard to find the subject as it magnifies so much! I used a $20 bill and focused on the name Jackson under the portrait. You can see the different levels of magnification as I switch between lenses. Larger view is with standard camera lens. The name Jackson is under the portrait. The next two are of the J and the A in the fullest zoom mode and the third lens on my camera. It was zoomed in so far, I could only get parts of each letter in the frame, bottom of J and middle of A. The next is the middle zoom with the middle lens on the camera. I zoomed in as far as this mode allowed and could not quite get the full name in the frame. The next is using the first lens on the camera and zooming in. At the full zoom I was able to get a few more letters of the name in the frame. The last one with the circle effect is using the first top lens on the camera with no zoom. I was able to get the full name in at that level. And I did have to remove my phone cover to use this device. You can tell when you exceed the zoom capacity for each lens as the screen will go black. If you were zooming in and your screen goes black switch to your next lens. At least for my camera that is how it worked.

Images are extremely blurry, focus issues on my iPhone
I have a couple other Neewer lenses for my phone and this seemed like itâd be an interested and fun addition to my phone photography kit. While the zoom and portrait lenses I also have worked quite well, this microscope lens is a dud for me. No matter what I doing I canât get an in-focus image, whether the light is on, off, messing around with camera settings, itâs always blurry to the point itâs unusable. Itâs a shame too, because the built-in lights are a really nice feature and it came with a really cute tiny lens storage pouch. I do like how Neewer always includes thoughtful accessories, and in this case, even the clip needed to mount the lens to your phone. Iâm not sure if I got a defective lens but I just couldnât get it to function properly and found it to be disappointing overall.

PRODUCT CAME DIRTY AND WITH SIGN OF USAGE
This wasnt a new product, im really upset about it because lenses are suppossed to be something really delicate, Product is working but I bought something new! that was the whole point

Too big to be carried all the time . The zoom is not really strong enough to justify it as well as the price. The quality on the 16proMax is vey good. I do feel that lens would be better fo older model where the zoom quality was not achievable.

Materiales y calidad buena.

Great concept, feels quality in the hand, but in practice it just doesnât work when fully zoomed in. You get a blur of sorts in the top right corner of the image, and this is when using the additional cage for the iPhone 16 pro max, which costs an extra £50 on top of the £95 for the lens. Iâm pretty annoyed as I bought the lens and cage for a holiday in 2 days!
