    It’s an acquired taste…
It really doesn’t taste great, but after getting through 3/4 of the giant 5 lb tub (and mostly hating it), I finally tried mixing it with orange juice today and it’s soooo much more palatable that way! It really needs something strong and sweet to cover the flavor. The 5lb tub is really affordable, and has clean ingredients, so I’ll probably keep buying it and trying to find ways to make it drinkable.Update months later: I have now switched 100% to this powder. I love it because it’s so clean and cheap. I always add fruit to it however, because on its own there’s absolutely no sweetness. I recommend freezing bananas adding a banana to it. This makes it taste like mildly sweet milk and so I use that on my cereal. It’s great with other fruits like frozen pineapple, strawberries, and blueberries.

    Good budget plant based protein
Research shows this is a good and healthy product. Cheaper than other popular brands with good ingredients. Taste isn’t that great so blend with a banana or your choice of fruit to make tasty.

A lot of powder for the price on sale
I love the amount of protein powder I got with this item while it was on sale. Only complaint is the taste is horrible, I’m glad I drink mine fast and not for the taste. No stomach upset, texture is very thick powder, not fluffy, very dense. I use water for mine and it dissolves easily after shaking for a few seconds. If you are looking for a good taste, this is not for you. Quantity for price is the best thing about this item

I’ve Fallen in Love w/ the Flavor Signature
Make your way over to the 1-star reviews, and complaints on the flavor profile of the protein powder will leap off the screen at you. It’s my assumption that these reviewers are, for one, spoiled by the additive-replete protein powders & shakes they’ve consumed all their lives, and for two, not being realistic about what to expect from a protein powder that boasts one singular ingredient: organic pea protein isolate. No fillers, no sweeteners, no flavorants; of course it’s not going to stack up with the ON Whey you guzzled for 6 consecutive years during your roid-raged college tenure (you Van Wilder Chad). While this protein powder is characterized as being “unflavored,” it does have a unique flavor signature to it that I’ve actually come to adore, and that’s whether I mix it into protein shakes, incorporate it into baked/cooked goods, or eat it straight w/ a gulp’s-worth of water. And yes, I do eat it straight w/ a mouthful of water sometimes. When, you might wonder? Well, I tend to be strict with my diet for the most part, but occasionally, I’ll get the urge to binge-eat on some sweets. What’s my go-to? Snickers Mini’s & Twix Fun-Size’s. 2 Snickers, followed by 1 Twix, and then repeat the cycle. And then repeat the cycle. And then repeat. And theN REPEAT. AND THEN REPEAT. I’m scarfing down these highly-processed, acrylamide-rich chocolate treats like some sort of demented mole-rat, and at a point between bites, I begin whispering to my snacks, “precious, PRECIOUS.” Eventually & inevitably, I knock out, only to awaken from my slumber the following morning w/ those shooting psychological pains we call regret. But alas! I’m not as regretful as I can be, becuz in my demented mole-rat state, I somehow still managed to cleverly knock back a couple grams of the pea protein isolate powder w/ water to chase down my chocolate calamity. “At least I got some protein in,” I reason w/ myself. At least the binge-meal wasn’t *strictly* fats & sugars.P.S., some goof-ball named Edgar posted a video of the protein powder behaving differently than other protein powders. The reason for that is static, and this powder is especially prone to it becuz it doesn’t include certain adulterants, like gums, that prevent that sort of behavior. Ppl, if we want more pure goods, we lose some of the properties that you’ve grown accustomed to w/ products that otherwise have additives. Those substances weren’t included by the product designers for nothing; they serve a purpose that ultimately pleases the customer, whether you’re aware of it or not. When you seek a more pure product, you have to tolerate some blemishes & imperfections that are rendered in a vacuum of these adulterants. Get w/ the program.P.P.S., the protein powder stirs better in water than most other protein powders, and that’s probably due to the static that the isolate tends to develop (water molecules are polar). The same static that got Edgar freaking out about metals.Buy it. Enjoy it. And stay away from Snickers & Twix.

Nutrients are NOT as given on Amazon. False advertising!
    1) I purchased this because it said on Amazon that it contained 150 mg. of calcium per scoop. IN FACT, IT CONTAINS ZERO MG. OF CALCIUM, according to the container that they shipped. It also doesn’t contain any iron or potassium, both of which were listed on the Amazon container. I am shocked as this is a huge company which sells many different supplements.2) The taste is disgusting. And I take vegetable powder everyday, which I find tolerable.

    Great quality and price
Great quality and great price; I really appreciate that it’s 100% pea protein with no additives / artificial sweeteners / anything else companies like to throw in there; like all pea protein, the texture is rather chalky, so make sure to mix with plenty of water

    Tastes horrendous
Purchasing unflavored was a bad choice because this taste is horri-awful. The consistency is also cement like. It is great value though.

First time trying this product. Doesn’t taste any different than the pre-existing brand I have been using which is non-organic.With such a great price point for an organic product, I will be switching to this brand in future.
