Best for the money
I just installed them so I can’t rate the longevity. The only con is that the junction boxes are cheaply made. Very lightweight and thin metal. So thin that it will cut you like a knife if you are not careful. I also don’t see anywhere that they are UL approved. Easy installation and they work great. No flickering when dimmed all the way.

Works for our vaulted ceiling
We have been using a similar product that did not tilt but when we got to our vaulted ceiling we needed to be able to tilt the light fixture. These are same brand and style so will match the other lights. With these not being a can light you can’t tip very much without seeing behind fixture. So you may need to paint or construct an enclosure behind the light.

I originally got these lights to put in my living room, but since then, we’ve revamped our plan and decided to go with more, non-gimbal lights. I intend to use at least one of these, however, in front of my fireplace, so I can aim it toward the fireplace and cast a little more direct light on that area. Unfortnately, delays in our schedule have prevented me from getting that done yet, so I have yet to actually try the lights to see how they will work/look. I installed recessed lighting in my kitchen about a year and a half ago, though, and these lights look like they have basically the same design and installation requirements as those other lights (with the exception that these are gimbal lights and the others weren’t). I don’t anticipate any issues, and am looking forward to seeing how these lights will look in my space. I will come back and update on my experience and the quality and look of the light when I get it installed. The price for these is a lot higher than basic recessed lighting–I am assuming it’s because they are gimbal lights. But I really like that you can select the color/brightness of these to make them whatever you want or need them to be for your space. And these wafer-style lights with the junction boxes attached just make putting in recessed lighting a breeze.

The 6 inch gimbal lights look great in my kitchen! They were easy to install and not only more energy efficient than my old lights but also allow you to adjust color temperature. Lots of versatility here
These check a lot of boxes. Selectable color temp, metal box, aluminum construction, slim design, dimmable, AND 25 degrees of adjustability. They even have a 5 year warranty.They’re working great so far. Like any good recessed light, the hardest part was all the wiring!

Excellent quality LED recessed light set!
This is one excellent quality set of LED recessed lights in my opinion! They are easy to install since there is a separate junction box where the electrical connections are made. Then, the light itself just plugs into a connector from the junction box. A feature I really like is that the color temperature can be changed using a switch that is on the junction box. I also like that the light output is dimmable as well. In addition, the ability to pivot the light in its housing is a huge plus too. Overall, I am very happy with this product, so it receives the top ranking and recommendation from me for sure!
