This stuff is POTENT & FILLING. I totally underestimated it’s power. It seriously packs a punch. It is very slightly sweet, and very, very green in color. I’m prepping for a figure show in May and I thought this might be handy to have around on my low carb days for additional protein. Great product!

Contains silicon packets in the powder
I actually liked the product until today, when I scooped out the powder and put it in the blender to make a smoothie. I just barely noticed something sticking out and found a small silicon package used in manufacturing. I almost blended it up and drank it. Especially freaked me out bc I my kidney was removed from cancer 6 months ago and I bought this product to help my nutritional requirements on a new diet. There was no disclaimer or warning on the package about organic spirulina containing silicon, and I suspect it was accidentally left in the original container from the container manufacturer so that whoever filled the containers with the spirulina never checked the containers or cleaned them.

Okay, the taste isnât bad, but not great. I put it in my smoothies with Orgain and banana and it hides it really good.

The packaging sucks but it works for what I need it for. Top does not stay on or closed so be very careful it will spill everywhere!
