It’s So Cool, Easy – Nothing Digital, 1 AA Battery
I can’t decide which is my favorite feature other than that it exists! Didn’t even know there was such a thing until I came across this. It’s a set of two, so you can set two up for one cat at different times while you are gone for a day, or… you can set it at the same time for two cats to eat together once. Firstly, I was so excited that this is operated by one AA Battery. Yay! Good old fashioned battery operated, so hard to find nowadays. Also like the battery powered because I don’t have to place these close to an outlet, which my old house is short of to begin with. I’ve only had this product for two days now, and really just playing with it and seeing if they pop open when they should. They’re working! No digital timers to figure out. I think I spent two hours figuring out my automated feeder for dry cat food (although that has multiple feedings). It works similar to an outlet timer for say Christmas lights. Just turn the dial to how many hours from that point you want the lid to pop open. Also has these little things to slide on the bottom so the feeder next to it can be attached. I also like this because it will add some weight. I have a newly diagnosed Diabetic Cat, so no dry food for him, or at least until we get him regulated. So I was very happy to find this product. The stainless steel food trays are shallow and a descent size so it should bother whiskers. I am really excited about these. I think I will probably like to get a couple more ice packs as I know I’m going to forget to stick them in the freezer at some point, and extras would be nice anyhow. As of right now, yeah, definitely recommend.

FANTASTIC solution to feeding cats wet food when I’m not home!
These timer feeding dishes are a fantastic solution for when I have to be away for a couple of my cats’ normal feeding times! Each timer/bin can be set to pop open up to 48 hours in the future – you just turn a knob to set the time, it’s very clear how long a delay you have dialed up. When the time is up, the bin lid pops open!This pack comes with two such bins. Each one easily holds two standard 5.5oz cans of wet food with room to spare. I’m not sure how long the ice packs will actually keep the food in a tray cold – I doubt the full 48hrs – but it will certainly help keep the food fresher.One AA battery per bin makes the timer go, the timer motor is quiet and won’t spook even skittish pets. NOT SIMPLE CLOCKWORK – THESE ACTUALLY NEED THE BATTERY TO OPERATE.This really makes my life easier if I have to travel for a day or two – I can put a couple cans of food in each bin to release throughout my time away. This is superior to putting a day or two worth of food out and hoping the cats are smart enough to pace themselves!

I have 2 cats and they have a free choice of dry food, but I feed them moist food once a day. When I have to leave town for a weekend work event, I have had to pay someone to come in to feed them the moist food food. The cats are not very social with others, so it is strictly to feed the cats. This will solve many issues. I tried in out with the cats to get them used to it and they had no issues with it scaring them when it popped open and they readily ate from it. It is far larger than needed for canned food so it would work well for a daily dry food feeder as well if you have a cat that will overindulge given free choice.

Great Idea…On Paper
We ordered these so that we could set up our cats’ (who exclusively eat wet food) breakfast meal (which is super early) and for lunch or dinner when we plan to be out. We have set them up twice for 7 hour stretches and have found that they do not stay cold and also start to dry out before morning. They don’t seal at all and have limited insulation. They do keep time and open as they should. We do like that they are made from stainless steel. Overall, they suit their purpose, and we will keep using them, but they will most definitely not keep anything cold for 7 hours much less 48…

The Best Automatic Cat Feeder I Have Used
One of the better automatic feeders I’ve used. The design and overall function of this feeder is simple and simple is what you want. No complicated electronics, no apps, no room for error. This feeder just works. It takes one AA battery. The timer function is very quiet while in operation as is the door when it is activated. I appreciate the stainless steel bowls and I will be buying extras to go with this feeder as well. I’ve been using this automatic feeder every night since I’ve got it to avoid having to get up and feed my cat at 5AM everyday and it does exactly what I need it to do.

Feeding wet food made easy
I like stainless steel dishes that comes with it. It’s a very nice upgrade from the plastic dish compartment. Only 1 AA battery required for each unit. There’re also a little plastic piece to hook both unit together. Timer setting is so simple to set, just turning dial knob counter clockwise up to 48 hrs. I doubt that ice pack will work for that long though. Each click represents 0.5 hr. The knob can be also be turned clockwise as well, in case you want to readjust and shorten time remaining. After a few blank tests (no food in a compartment), I can confirm that timer is quite accurate. Timer gear is quiet and doesn’t scare the cats which is a plus. I’m very pleased with a product quality.
