Fantastic toothbrush! Cleans my teeth from plaque like wonder.
I’ve been using my Series 7 toothbrush twice daily for the past 3.5 years. It still works like a clockwork.Previously, my dentist always frowned upon the plaque on my teeth on every visit – I used a regular toothbrush. But now that I’ve switched to this wonder, my dentist only gives me compliments and “keep up the good work” encouragements!

Battery dies way too early!
I love this toothbrush! This is my third because after a few years the battery fails to charge. I called Oral B after the first one died and they sent me a new one free. I bought this one and had to send it back to Amazon because the Oral B box that held the toothbrush was so beat up. The outer box was perfect. What a disappointment when you need a new toothbrush! I could have gone to Walmart and saved $30. Really disappointing. But the toothbrush is amazing! I always get high marks at my dental cleaning.

Best toothbrush I’ve ever used
Funny to think that years ago we wouldn’t have dreamed of having a computer built right into our toothbrush. I’t just some bristles on the end of a plastic handle, right?I’d say it’s hard to justify the price for this toothbrush, but to be honest I can’t. To me it’s worth every penny. The last visit to the dentist had the hygienist telling me that my gums looked better than the previous visit; that’s enough to convince me that the extra tech that has gone into the iO 7 was worth the extra I had to pay to get it.It’s quieter than the old Oral B Pro that I had, and leaves my teeth feeling a LOT cleaner. The brushing action has the familiar oscillation but also incorporates micro vibrations, which help remove anything that shouldn’t be on the surface of your teeth. The accompanying app. (which you download onto the phone) helps encourage good brushing habits, and maps out your teeth into 6 different ‘zones’ monitoring the time spent on each, as well as brushing your tongue, rinsing, flossing, etc. I used the for the first few days, but sometimes you just want to brush your teeth and get it over with, ya know? The app. also awards you with medals for different behaviours, and I can see how having a simple reward system like that can also encourage good dental hygiene. The charging stand has been redesigned, and the ‘peg’ from the Pro charging stand has been removed, and a strong magnet built in to hold the brush upright and in place. This is a huge improvement, and results in a much cleaner charging stand (if you’ve used the Pro for any length of time you’ll know what I mean!).The replacement heads aren’t the cheapest, but replacing one every three months is not the end of the world for a healthy smile.I consider my money well spent.

Brought back my confidence to smile
The toothbrush does a fantastic job at cleaning my teeth, They have never been so white in a long time and I haven’t switched my toothpaste. The Vibration is not too hard on my teeth, The battery power lasted for a long time and it’s not too heavy.

Product received is marked “Not For Resale”
Product received is marked “Not For Resale” You’re taking a chance that it’s not covered by the manufacturers warranty. Not worth the price tag in my opinion. Not everything needs Bluetooth and or an app especially in lieu of shortcomings… Heads have holes allowing the toothpaste & spit to drip out onto your hand and down inside making it necessary to flush it out and blow it dry after each use. Sound simple? There are 3 holes in the brush head, so flushing with tap water and blowing it out means covering the holes – it’s like trying to play the flute, but upside down over your sink! (Be sure to point the head left to right tonaboid getting the spray on your clothing!) To make the situation worse, the little tower-like mating end of the handle portion is also hollow, so it in turn also collects the toothpaste spittle from the head. The mating tower being hollow also makes it difficult to clean too. I’m leary of trying to run water through it for fear the water will get inside the unit and damage it. Again, sure you can turn it upside down and blow it out but who wants to add all this to your brushing routine! The “elegant” floating charging stand is cute to look at but not very practical. It is constantly getting knocked over. I’m so afraid to crack or break it as was reported by other reviewers. The brush heads are much more expensive (which is a reoccurring investment) and not compatible with those of the older non iO models. The heads and handle being physically different also means none of the existing “toothbrush stations” that hold extra heads and such are compatible, meaning more cost to you if you already have an older model. Even changing modes on the iO is annoying. Once you start with one mode you’re stuck with it until it thinks you’re done brushing, which takes 30 seconds or so to “reset” before you can switch to another mode. 30 seconds may not seem like much but when your already pressed for time in the morning, it is quite annoying. Oh ya, don’t forget your toothbrush-flute cleaning Concerto! (Maybe the app could provide soothing music to ease your aggravation) In short, the price tag is ridiculous for the shortcomings vs features. I’m sure the Bluetooth connectivity and app added much to the cost. My message to Oral-B: Loose the fluff and drop the price. My message to shoppers: If you’re considering buying the iO, don’t. Wait for Oral-B to fix the sanitary & usability issues, and drop the price. The battery dies randomly at 30-40% charge left.

Best tooth brush ever, it cleans like there is no tomorrow, way better then my previous 7000 rotating oral b, not that noisy, no easy to find the off button when finished and since this cleans a lot, if you remove it from your mouth it will splah your miror, trust me this is a ”beast” that you can simply change setting if too hard to a more gentle, am not using the application on my phone (who does that really…) love the light that says green when your doing it with enough pressure or not not enough, etc. The case is simply the cheapest thing ever, i did not get the one showed, for that price it should be a better case, that is probably worth $0,25 at best. Overall if you wish a an upgrade of all the tooth brush out there this is something to buy! Every single time I use it same comment comes out, wow this is good feeling, I love it! Don’t go for the 8 or 9 series because there is color on the screen, your never really looking at it and the gap for pricing is huge for nothing. I highly reco this product, at least from my own point of view, so far so good! PS it is true that the brushes are bigger so maybe a very small mouth would have issues reaching out the back. If you buy this get ready for a change, to me rotating is out never again!

I use the toothbrush a few times a week. When not using, it was always placed on the charging dock. However, since late 2022, once in a while, when I wanted to use it again, it switched off automatically within seconds it was switched on, showing “0% battery”, with flashing red light.Very Frustrated.

I decided to not detract stars for only including one head when they’ve advertised two because that’s an issue with the seller and not the item. I’ve left seller feedback. Brush itself is great and pressure sensor especially.
