167 Servings!
This works out to 30 cents per serving .. and 167 servings per container. = 1 teaspoonArrives in a tall tub,Type 2 HDPE white plastic tub with easy off green lid – although the first time off is a struggle with the inner seal holding it down.paper and foil inner seal – very tightsmells like high quality spirulina – this is a food product, not a drink mix.Tastes kind of salty green to me, and smells the same.Manufactured in China — I’m glad to see this is on the bottle. They don’t hide it, so my trust level improves.I teach ESL to Chinese students, and the parents tell me that huge efforts have been made to improve the quality of health products.Always drink plenty of water when taking spirulina to help the algae work more efficiently

Bulk pack spirulina â loaded with nutrients. But note the Prop 65 warning on package
This is a large (167 servings of one teaspoon each) container of Sprirulina. For those not familiar with Spirulina, it is loaded with nutrients and antioxidants. This is bulk packed in a large plastic container, which is safety sealed. Once opened, you will notice the deep green color of the Spirulina itself with a moderate sea odor like the sea or ocean (it is made from algae). You can mix it with water or blend it in a smoothy â and if you stick to the one tablespoon or less with a cup of water / other liquid, it doesnât have much impact on taste at all.A few notes:1) This particular item does not have many reviews as of yet. Iâm not sure why â there is a very similar (same?) product from Organika that is reviewed here: https://www.amazon.com/Organika-Organic-Spirulina-Powder-500/dp/B01NBAE8FC2) This product has a California Prop 65 label on it for reproductive harm. In of itself, this is not necessarily a cause for concern (many products in CA have a Prop 65 warning due to the broad net cast for this consumer protection law). However, it would be worth it for the company to explain what is in the product that prompts the warning and why a user should not be concerned. This warning label should also be listed in the online product description for California residents – not just a sticker on the product after it is received.Otherwise, this seems like a good package for those that regularly use Spirulina as part of their supplement program.

A bit too smelly for my taste
Opening the container, I was hit with a fishy smell. Doing a little research, Spirulina, good spirulina, isn’t supposed to smell horrible. It’s a bad sign (we have noses for a reason after all. However, It wasn’t repulsive, it just smelled bad. So, is this how it’s supposed to smell, or do I trust the articles online that say good spirulina shouldn’t have a horrible smell to it. I don’t like taking things that have bad smells. It’s a really dark mix when placed in water, and the taste was, well, yucky. I’m not real happy with it. Take it with a grain of salt, my review that is, not the spirulina. Your tastebuds may enjoy it, but I’ll find some healthier smelling greens elsewhere.

Not the best taste
Directions say to use 1 tsp of powder and mix it into water. Not the best taste. I had a hard time with it. It has 14% of daily iron. Non GMOVegan friendly. Antioxidant support.I may try to mix into a flavored drink to see if I can continue taking! 17.64 oz

A GOOD SPIRULINA PRODUCT, A VERY FINE RICH LOOKING PRODUCT, MIXES WELL WITH ANYTHING & GREAT PRICE!!
I love this spirulina, it is super pure and mixes very well. The taste is close to nothing, so you can mix it with anything and I have tried it just with water, lemonade, and orange juice. The color is so beautiful and you can see from the pictures and the video posted how pure it looks. It is 100% organic and sourced very well in underground alkaline pools. I also like that it is tested for heavy metals. Also, the container is BPA free another good thing The serving size is 1 teaspoon and there are 167 servings per container. The price is $48.99, so I believe this is a good value, for the number of servings you get for a great-quality spirulina product.

High Quality Organic Spirulina Powder
I am very impressed with Organika’s Certified Organic Spirulina Powder. It has quickly become a staple in my daily morning routine and I am seeing such great results from using it. The powder has a rich, dark green color and mixes easily into smoothies, juices, and even baked goods. One of the things I appreciate most about this spirulina powder is that it is certified organic, so I know I am getting a high-quality product that is free from pesticides and other harmful chemicals. It is also non-GMO and 3rd party tested (for things such as algal toxins and heavy metals), which is important to me.The health benefits of spirulina are numerous, and I have definitely noticed an increase in energy and overall well-being since incorporating it into my diet. It is an excellent source of protein, vitamins, and minerals, and is known to support immune function and brain health. The price is somewhat expensive, but you get a large container with 167 servings. I highly recommend Organika’s Certified Organic Spirulina Powder to anyone looking to improve their health and wellness.
