I don’t typically write a lot of reviews however, this product warrants it. I work in the trades and big part of my role for the company I work for is to visit various job sites. I do this in my company provided truck, a Chevy Silverado 3500. This is a seriously heavy duty work truck. Being that I spend up to 6 hours a day driving from site to site I needed a reliable mount for my phone to navigate and see where I was going. The roads where I work are terrible. Lots of pot holes and bumps. When I hit bumps in my truck they are so bad that sometimes I feel myself get bounced up off my seat. This otterbox mount on the other hand goes absolutely no where. I can hit a monster bump or pot hole and almost go flying but this mount and my phone do not even budge. Since I’ve been using this phone mount I haven’t had the mount or my phone fall once even though both are absolutely punished each day. This is the absolute best and most reliable mount I could have ever asked for and I do not regret spending a little more because it was completely worth it. If this mount can survive the roads I work on and can handle the punishment of a large truck kicking back on some of these bumps then it can most certainly handle an everyday passenger car. Highly recommend this product to anyone with a work vehicle as it will be reliable and keep your phone safe and secure on the dash or window. Also recommend it for a regular passenger car as well because as previously mentioned if it can handle the punishment of a work vehicle it can handle the everyday car with ease. Just spend the couple extra dollars and you’ll get the best mount you’ll ever have. You will not regret this purchase.

OK first thing to know is that the magnet on this holder is strong. I donât know if itâs the strongest holder out there, but so far I have taken my jeep on trails and bumpy roads and it holds my phone fast. My phone is also in the defender MagSafe case. But be advised this holder does not mount to the windshield via a suction cup. Instead, it has a sticky pad. This makes removing it extremely difficult when needing to clean the windshield or put up a sunshade. I donât know how long it will stand up to being taken off and putting back on. This is much more of a permanent mount. That being said it can be removed and reinstalled with minimal effort, but it is not a suction cup. It is a sticky pad. overall, this is a great holder and I recommend to those who are worried about a magnet holding their phone.

Great Grip and Suction on the Windshield
The car mount was better than I expected! I was skeptical about MagSafe car mounts because I was afraid the magnets were not strong enough to handle driving on rough terrain and that my phone my fly off while driving. Fortunately, this one has removed all my doubts! The suction and adhesion to the window makes it virtually impossible to fall off while driving and the MagSafe magnets are actually sturdy enough to hold my phone while driving (even with a D-Brand case). One thought that still haunts me is the possibility of the adhesive losing its strength if it gets too hot on a particular day, but since it slowly getting colder this time of the year, I might have to wait till next summer to see if my thought is fact or fiction. Other than that, it has been a great product so far and would highly recommend to anyone with an iPhone 12 or newer.

Decent But Beware leaving on Dash in Heat
This product is very sturdy, and really prevents the iPhone from shaking a rattling as you drive however, the adhesive that sticks to the magnetic part doesnât seem to be glued together that well as it has fallen apart only after a couple months, I reached out to OtterBox to resolve the issue to get a replacement sent and they wanted me to pay $10 for shipping and handling. Not very good business and thatâs why I probably would go with another choice especially if you live in hot climates where it will be on the dash in the sun, causing the glue to undo.

Best holder for your iPhone 12/13
Dear Otterbox,You guys have hit a home run with this car mount. I have the 13Pro and I use these in my 2017 Camry SE. The suction cup is a beast and it holds the mount really well to my dashboard. I was able to install it within seconds of unboxing the mount and adjusting the holder to my liking. It has an adjustable arm that extends out about 4ââs. The mount had no problems holding my phone in place. I would recommend everyone have any aftermarket MagSafe case. I am using the Mous limitless 4.0 with MS and the mount hold nice and tight. It takes a good amount of effort to take the phone off the mount and will not fall off when you go over a bump.Keep in mind this is merely a mount and it does not charge your device. I had a mount that charges but it always causes the phone to heat up a lot to the point it would turn off and be uncomfortable to the touch. If the phone was made of all metal any MagSafe charging holder would burn your hands. That is the reason why I bought this. I donât mind using the old school lightening cable. I will be going on a road trip next month so I had to make sure my setup is good before we leave for a 300 mile drive one way. I can not have my phone get extremely hot on the trip and then shut down because if that happens my wife and I are screwed because we donât know the directions. That is why for us, this is perfect!

This was a great purchase. The magnet holds my phone really well. It has not fallen off. The suction to the window is also really good. No issues with this at all. I love that I can quickly set my phone on this with just the magnet. It also swivels perfectly!

I have been a searching for a windshield good solid MagSafe phone holder. I bought a cheap one before which was half the price, but my phone keeps sliding off. Then I had to return it and researched again. I kept going back to this one and I thought I would give it a try. I wasnât too sure about the price. Itâs kind of pricey. Once I got it, it was definitely much much much better than the other cheap ones. Iâm thinking about buying a second one for my second car.

It is only with a mag safe+ case that this will work with. I had to purchase a new phone case that would enable this. Otherwise the magnet on the mount is not strong enough to hold it. Once I did that, it works excellent!
