Works great on my covered front porch.
Perfect kitty temperature. A regular heating pad is way too warm for animals. I have a heated cat house and this heated pad for when the stray Iâm taking care of wants to lay on the chair on my covered front porch. Hope to eventually get him inside the houseâ¦slow process, but at least I know heâs not cold.

This product is so great. We have some neighborhood cats that are friendly and in need of warmth during the cold months. This warming mat turns on only when the cat is on top of it and shuts off when not needed. It is made of durable materials for outdoor use.

Somewhat Disappointing
Nicely made heating pad for outside pets. Comes with a sufficiently long cord that’s wire wrapped I believe to keep the critters from chewing on it. It has an easy off cover that is simple to remove and launder. So why disappointing? It just doesn’t get very warm. It does warm up certainly, but it isn’t much; not as warm as I would like it, especially since it will be used out in the cold and wind. So, not a bad heating pad but in my opinion lacking in its basic function to provide adequate heating in freezing temperatures. I don’t recommend it. If it came with a control to select the heating settings it would be more on target.

Although this is intended to be used outside, I use it in my dogâs crate and put it under his bed. It adds enough warmth to keep the coldness of the floor at bay. I like how safe and durable it is, and i donât have to worry about it getting too hot. I was worried my dog wouldnât be heavy enough to trigger the heater to turn on (heâs just over 6lbs) but it works without issue! He loves it 🙂
