I have some outdoor true feral cats. I’ve tried a thousand times to get them to come inside but they flip out so I had to compromise. I have a wooden dog house with a heat lamp and this heating pad for them and they absolutely love it. Mella will keep coming to the door letting me know it’s time to turn it on.The settings allow you to select 24 hours which I LOVE! It’s definitely helped get through these cold winter days!It’s gotten wet, it stays outside and still works.All you have to do is unzip the cover, wash and it fits right back on very easily. 10 of 10 recommend!

Barely heats
Barely heats and for some unknown reason, neither cat will lay on it. It’s the second one I received because I sent the first one back for not heating sufficiently. Still unsatisfactory.

Dog pad turned into cat pad
My outside strays (my inside dogs play ROUGH) that I’ve adopted love their heat pads. Please know my outside ones are very (spoiled) outside cats. Functional, cats are warm, perfect sizes. I have big ones for 4 cats (2 each heatpad) to sleep on each one. Perfectð¤©

Outdoor cat likes it!
Put this outside in a styrofoam cooler along with straw and a blanket so that a stray cat Iâve been taking care of has refuge during the bitter winter nights. He seems to love it and spends all of his nights and most days in it. Creates enough heat to keep him comfortable.

This is amazing and my mostly outdoor dog absolutely loves it so much. I put it in my chair and sat on it before I put it outside so I could test the heat settings and it felt amazing on my back and legs, might buy one for myself haha but seriously… Lol if you have a dog that needs a little warmth this is amazing. Waterproof is the icing on the warm cake lol great buy!

Find something better
If you really focus hard, maybe if you’re lucky, you can feel some temp when you lay your hand on the pad…but don’t count on it! Yes, heat can dissipate from the pad as the temp gets colder. But give me a break!–this “heating”(?) pad is useless.
