High quality case
Iâve been a loyal Pelican customer for years, owning multiple cases to safeguard sensitive scientific measuring devices, and I can confidently say I wouldnât trust any other brand. The build quality is outstanding, with a durable yet lightweight design that makes it easier to transport than competitor models. The included foam inserts allow for customizable cushioning so that everything inside is securely held in place. Pelican cases may come at a premium compared to other brands, but they are worth every penny. One experience solidified my trust in their reliability. I accidentally left a case holding my DJI drone exposed on my boat for two months. Despite being subjected to the elements and severe temperaturesâthe case kept the drone completely dry and in pristine condition. Pelican has never let me down.
I always love using pelican, as there warranty policies has been better then any others that I have worked with. Send certain information to the and it is taken care of. I wanted a case that I can take a laptop with me out in the field while camping and know it isn’t going to be crack while moving from one location to another. This is allowing me to do that. Also knowing the equipment is protected from rain and all also is a plus. No issues at all with this case.

Pelican is a well-regarded brand in the protective case industry that consistently produces high-quality cases in my experience. This particular case meets my expectations as I have used Pelican cases in the past to protect drones.As a shallow attaché case, this is an ideal choice for smaller drones, computer equipment, or protecting other delicate, sensitive electronic items. The case has a sturdy shell and hinge material that is reinforced on all sides. Notably, itâs lightweight compared to other cases, weighing only 6.4 pounds on my scale (which is much lighter than other similarly sized cases). This lightweight design, coupled with its protective capabilities, sets it apart from other cases in my opinion.The inclusion of interior foam is a big plus, as Iâve encountered challenges in finding suitable foam that fits a case after purchase. This foam is springy and should be highly protective, and it can be easily cut and customized to suit storage requirements.While the case may be an expensive investment, this is a high-quality product thatâs worth considering for protecting valuable electronic equipment.

Great protection
This is a review for the Pelican Air 1505 Case with Foam – Multi-Purpose Case – Laptop Case, Drone Case, Camera Case, Gear Case, Equipment Case, or Pistol Case (Black): overall, a great case if you need something with an attaché dimension. It is light (or at least lighter than other pelican cases I’ve used in the past), with a really nice latch system that securely latches without undue friction or pressure as you may have found on older models. Really appreciate that they’ve added metal to the attach points and lock loop areas.The inside has the pick and poke foam so you’ll be able to customize to whatever your needs are. There’s a bit of flex on either side of the case, but not enough to compromise the foam or protection. Overall, it’s great!

Very light weight, a little expensive, but it’s a Pelican case, they are the standard.
I like the Air series, but you do pay a premium for them. This is a good case for even the largest of laptops (maybe not that 20″ Alienware from 10 years ago though). Very sturdy case but also a pretty light weight when nothings in it.I don’t have the comparable non air case to do a side by side comparison, but from personal experience replacing a few of the other standard pelican cases for work with air versions the weight loss is noticeable.This case fits the work laptop along with accessories, mouse, and all that needs to go with it perfectly. Outside of the price, which is a pretty bitter pill to swallow, the case is great. But even then with the price, you just deal with it once and more than likely you won’t have to worry about buying anything else unless you just want something different in size.

Expensive but so worth the price
I have a Pelican 1590 case with wheels but this case is so much lighter and I love the lock mechanism. The locks have a push button that quietly disengages the locks. This can be useful in situations where you need dead silence when opening the case e.g. think of hunting, or carrying a drone for wildlife photos. The case has a pressure relief valve that comes standard on all Pelican cases.Thereâs a waterproof seal around the case with a tongue and grove. See photo close up of the waterproof seal. Iâm planning on using this Pelican to carry my pistols when I go target shooting as itâs lightweight and spacious on the inside. The weight of the case is very light for its size and they have raised footings on the bottom of the case to reduce wear and tear. It would also make a great drone case to protect your DJ3 drone.
