For the ultimate in panoramic bird-feeding views, look no further than the Perky-Pet Oasis Plastic Hummingbird Feeder. This feeder offers two options for easy placement anywhere around your yard. Use the included metal hanging rod to hang the feeder from a hook or mount the feeder on a pole for optimal stability. For your convenience, this feeder features a dish-style basin to allow for easy filling and cleaning. In addition, this feeder offers a built-in ant moat. Simply fill the small basin on top of the feeder with water to create a barrier that keeps ants out.
Hummingbirds will also love this feeder and its vibrant colors. With six feeding ports and U-shaped perches, multiple hummers can easily dine at the same time. The feeder is designed with soft, flexible flower-inspired feeding ports to offer a more natural look and feel that hummingbirds will love. The tapered port even acts as a natural bee guard. Easiest to use.
After a whole slew of hummer feeders this is the easiest to clean and refill. With the bottle feeders that have to be flipped over I usually had some spillage on my shoes and ants on the deck. The birds seems to love it too. Now Iâm buying my third one. Come on more hummingbirds. No waiting!Edited. Now not hanging straight. The medal hanger wiggles.

The best hummingbird feeder youâll find!
Love this product, I recently purchased my second after I had the first for over a year and it is still working great.Iâm a lazy hummingbird mom. I prefer to give them the natural plants but understand they also want the quick nectar. If I donât see the birds for a week I may take down and toss in my garage where a month or so later I find it and clean it up. Old feeders would have been succumbed by mold and impossible to clean. This one, oh no, it makes cleaning easy. I spray with some dawn and vingear, give it a good wash and scrub and throw in dishwasher and itâs as good as new.My hummers also LOVE this style and I have no problems with bees or ants getting inside.

Hummingbirds love it
The only issue with these things is that they aren’t balanced well enough to always hang level. The juice will run to one “side” and the unit will hang at an angle. Doesn’t seem to bother the Hummingbirds!

Feeder
Keeps our little friends happy.

Doesn’t hang evenly, Spills everywhere
Very disappointing experience. I bought this saucer-shaped feeder so it would be easier for the hummers to feed. Unfortunately, this does not hang evenly. So it is constantly dripping sugary goodness all over my front deck. As a result, this feeder is not attracting birds…. it’s attracting bugs. Waste of money.

Best of the best!
A local bird expert recommends this dish-style feeder because itâs easiest to keep clean, and this Perky Pet feeder is superior to the look-alikes. Itâs slightly bigger but not too large to hang easily. The yellow flowers donât fall off like they do with the look-alikes. The metal hanger is sturdier than those with a plastic hanging rod. Costs a few dollars more perhaps than its imitators but absolutely worth it!

Great Hummingbird Feeder
Works great, easy to clean and fill. Hummingbirds seem to like it. I have 4 different feeders in my yard and this one attracts more birds and any of the others.

Does not hang level
I bought this to replace my old feeder which was also a saucer type feeder and was, I believe, also a Perky-Pet model, albeit a very old one. I prefer the saucer type feeders because they don’t leak fluid down onto my deck like a regular feeder does. However, this new feeder is not as wide in diameter as my old one and is deeper, which results in making it hang to one side or the other, regardless of how full it is. It is never level. I did not have this problem with my old one unless the fluid level was very low.

A los colibrÃes les encantó. La rosca de plástico donde embona el sostén metálico tiene baja resistencia y de inmediato se estrelló, lo cual solucioné con silicón.

My first time getting a hummingbird feeder and I bought this one after reading A LOT of reviews. Very happy with the purchase – after putting it up a few weeks, a hummingbird found it and has been visiting every day – at least 4 to 5 times a day. It would stand on the perch, take 5 or 6 sips, zips away, then visits again 10 or 15 minutes later. This dish-style design really works best, with nothing to block your view of the feeding bird. Instead of hanging it, I set it on a 3-foot pipe in a shaded area of the garden (less moss growth) about 6 feet from the patio door for a great view.Hind sight, I might have gone with a 12 oz feeder instead of the 16 oz. Unless you end up with a lot of hummingbirds visiting and need the number of perches, the smaller volume means less wastage. You have to refresh the sugar syrup every few days to a week anyways to avoid contaminants and moss growth, and hummingbirds really don’t drink a lot that quickly.TIP – read somewhere to boil the sugar syrup and let it cool (instead of just melting the sugar in hot water and add cold tap water), and it really works to extend the “life” of the sugar syrup. Do clean with soapy water every time you refresh the sugar syrup – especially the spouts that dip into the sugary water.

The hummingbirds love the resting roost. When the stick their beaks in we can see them drink. Some drink a lot before coming up for air. Others drink in short spirts. Some even share as there is more room due to the larger area to perch and drink. I have 3 of these now and have two outside while the 3rd one is inside warming up in colder weather. We watch them way more because it is more interesting now to watching them.

This feeder seems to attract the Hummers better than the others I have had over the years. The wasps can’t access easily.

Easy to clean and no leaks. Plus, hummingbirds would check it as soon as it would be out again.
