Birds love it!
Well packaged, easy to use, good quality bird feeder. The birds love it and (so far) the squirrels haven’t gotten to it. It was a Christmas gift for my husband who is a hunter. The deer motif is very nicely done. Would order from this company again.

Cable loop too Small and
A well constructed, heavy duty and decorative Bird Feeder, except for the shortness of the cable you use to hang it in a tree…there is no way to adjust the size of the loop on the end of the cable. The loop is 3/4″ in diameter which is not big enough to hang on a branch of that size, when you factor in the weight of the seed and the weight of the bird seed feeder. And there is no way to adjust the size of the loop….so I have to get some extra wire and modify it so it will be large enough to fit on at least an inch in diameter branch….I don’t get it, they do everything right….except for how to hang it safely….and functionally. How much more effort could have that taken?My second comment is the perches are too small, the birds struggle with balancing while eating….very poor design, it is too bad….if I had known what I know now, I would not have bought this.

Stylish Bird Feeder
I got this feeder because my other one was plastic and the squirrels chewed it and I lost a lot of seed on the ground. This is metal. I do not have to fill it as often. I love the Silhouettes on the sides of the deer Etc. It didn’t cost an arm and a leg either. It has pull outs on the side so the birds can rest on it while they’re getting seeds. I use sunflower seeds. I would recommend purchasing it!

I bought this to replace 2 other feeders, one which the birds never eat from since they have very little room to perch, and one that they love to eat from but it’s old and the seeds pour out onto the ground too quickly. And so far this new feeder is working ABSOLUTELY perfectly as I hoped it would. The birds have plenty of space to perch on all four sides, and the small lip on the edge keeps seeds from falling too much while still letting birds get their fill.I live in Queens NY which you might not think has much variety, but my yard gets birds of all sizes, from beautiful green Parakeets (sometimes almost a dozen at once) and Cardinals, to Sparrows, and all of them are lining up for food as of lately. The feeder itself seems well-built and while filled to the top with seed has no problem supporting 4 of those large Parakeets at once, it feels like tough metal. The deer design is nice too. I’d definitely recommend and I’ll update when I can get a picture of the happy birds.

Does not function as expected
The bars on the bottom for the birds is not wide enough for them to stand on, even when pulling them out to their length. The Cardinals have a hard time. The smart ones stand on the corner and get it from the side.Because my feeder hangs from the tree, when I lift up the lid to fill it, it doesn’t stay so that I can pour the food in. So, I’m left trying to hold the lid up over my head and pour food in at the same time, losing the food to the ground. My last one was mechanically able to push the lid up the string and it would stay until I filled the feeder and pushed the lid back down the string. I would not buy it again. It looks nice, but it’s the function that’s off.

Good looking feeder with a robust finish. Volume a little smaller than what I wanted but will do the job. I attach a 1/2 inch pipe flange to bottom and mount it on my “feeder tree” fabricated from 3/4 “inch black pipe main frame and 1/2 inch “branches”. Joins my feeder collection of five.

Aunque quizás echo de menos un sistema de colgado más fuerte pero es algo que cualquiera puede solucionar.Sin embargo, los pájaros de mi jardÃn no se han dignado a ir a comer en su nuevo comedero. Cuándo les ponÃa bolas de sebo en el mismo lugar iban pero este comedero no les atrae. No sé por qué puede ser. Leà en un comentario sobre comederos que tal vez el brillo del plástico espante a las aves y de ahà que no lo utilicen. Idearé la forma de matificar el plástico y ver si asà se acercan.Como adorno es muy bonito
