This is a great set! Highly recommended.
I have two new puppies and I wanted to get an automatic water dispenser for them because I was constantly filling their water dish. This is the second water dispenser I bought. The first one, which was a different brand, went back to Amazon because the water wouldn’t refill correctly and it was difficult not to spill the water when putting the water container on the base. It also needed a water filter. I use bottled water for my puppies…I won’t make them drink tap water when I won’t drink it, so I don’t need a filter.Looking for a replacement, I saw this set, which also had an automatic feeder, and it is awesome. The water dispenser is easy to fill, and it’s designed in such a way that there is no way to spill water when putting the water container on the base. It is built well….nice and sturdy. As I mentioned, I was originally using a regular water dish, but once I got this dispenser, they wouldn’t drink out of that water dish, so basically, they gave this a 5-star review, and I’m just typing it up for them. We like it so much I’ve ordered a second set so I can put a water dispenser on the back porch so the pups can have water when they are out playing.It holds a gallon of water which is perfect. I like to wash the water dish every couple of days and that’s how long it takes them to drink the gallon of water, so it get’s washed with every refill. . There are no hidden cracks or crevices that are hard to get to when cleaning, and I like that it is very easy to clean both the base and the water container.The automatic feeder is built just as sturdy as the water dispenser and the container for the food is the same size as the water container. This is also easy to fill, and it dispenses the food as expected. No need to jiggle the container to get the food to go into the dish. I highly recommend this set to anyone looking for a water and food dispenser that always work.

Great Slow Feeder
My dog inhales his food, even in the regular slow feed bowls. It was so easy to teach him to use. He even let’s us know when it’s empty, lol.The only downside is that the screws wear down after a while and the cache will fall when spun. It’s not to expensive, so it’s no problem to replace it after a few years. It’s better than finding piles of unchewed vomited food.

Keeps my bulldog occupied
This was a great buy. My bulldog usually inhales his food, and we wanted something that would also engage his brain (heâs a bulldog so heâs not the brightest, but he does love his food). We put his breakfast in this every day, and it keeps him busy for a good 30 minutes. He seems to really enjoy the experience, and itâs good for him to use his instincts. Also, if it can hold up to a 60lb bully, that means itâs super durable

Sturdy but difficult
While this is sturdy, well built and can take a beating, it is complicated to fill.The slot to fill the cylinder is on the side, making it nearly impossible to fill without turning it at least partially sideways, but the holes down both sides of the cylinder mean the food/treats are going to spill out a little while you’re filling it. Also the holes are very large, meaning the food spills out fast.Pro – the dog loves playing with it and spinning it to get food outCon – she’s very energetic and smart and figured out if she gives it a good hit, the cylinder spins and sprays food all over the floor.Overall, for a less energetic dog who isn’t gonna try to spin the wheel at top speed, this is probably a good choice – it’s engaging and entertaining. For an energetic dog, probably not the best choice.

Ultra slow – Dog learned it in a day
Ultra slow feeder, takes my dog a while to get all the food out. I had to sit with him the first time and just used his âpawâ command to get him to put his paw on my hand over it, then dropped my hand to wear his paw was hitting it, then Iâd just tap it and say paw. He finally began connecting it, and started attempting it himself, and if nothing dropped I would quickly spin it to encourage the behavior. He had to take a break because it was definitely mentally stimulating, but 10 minutes later I encouraged him back to it. The second time I sat with him, encouraged his attempts, then left him alone, heâs now currently still going with it, and with how much heâs been sniffing and figuring it out, I am anticipating him taking a nap afterwards. But heâs been consistently getting it to work.I would say the learning curve would be the biggest thing, but if you have a smart dog and patience to teach them, they pick it up fast!
