Get it! Get Two. Cannot Recommend Enough!
UPDATE: This review is for the LARGER version of this stroller (Expedition). I posted this in the wrong listing. This listing is for the smaller stroller. I also have the smaller stroller in this listing. It also fits my 41lb senior dog but she is snug in it. I have posted photos of both. The gray is the large version (Expedition). The pink is the smaller version (Excursion). My 41lb senior dog was sick and in need of exams but had to be moved carefully and safely so she was not injured more. Carrying her and walking wasn’t a safe option. I found the Pet Gear Expedition Stroller and it was a GODSEND.It is roomy (can for large sized dogs, even massive ones for a cozy fit). Construction is sturdy, materials are well-made, wheels roll smoothly, and the design is top notch. It has everything. The way the canopy opens like a clamshell means I can open it, then pick up my dog and place her down easily and safely on the bed without twisting her spine. Then I can just close the canopy right over her.The backdoor is great too because I can open it to position her if necessary. It’s also an extra option for dogs to hop in and out without opening the entire canopy. Many options for loading your dog in and for your dog to get in or out can be essential if you have an injured dog or senior dog who is “life-sized”.There is a wheel break in the back too! Critical for keeping the wagon stable when loading pets or when they are boarding or de-boarding. Critical for my senior dog because she is TERRIFIED of rolling things. One wrong move and she’ll be spooked forever. But she was completely comfortable in it.Roomy. Cozy. My senior dog can sit comfortably or stand in it safely and with much room to spare. Despite hating things like this, she is willing to get into it now.Ease of assembly. I just had to pop 4 wheels on! That’s it!!! Then read the manual on how to operate.Folds down easily for ease or transport or storage. Wheels also pop on and off easily if necessary for stowing in trunk or storage. You can pop off the back large wheels and leave the front small wheels on to fold, then roll under bed to save space.Get it. Get two, so you have a backup.I also have the smaller versions (Pet Gear Excursion). It is just as amazing. My dog fits in it too, but when sitting up she is almost too tall for the canopy to clear her head when closing. My senior dog is 41lbs and about the size of a medium dog. Pit Bull size! My little dog is a 6lb Chihuahua. Size of a small cat.

    Well worth the extra money!!!!
My 10 year old Shetland Sheepdog (sheltie) has a degenerative bone disease in the”wrist”, carpus, of his front legs making walking for more than about a 1/4 mile difficult and painful even when he gets his pain meds well before we go. He looks so sad when we walk out without him. I decided to invest in a doggy stroller. I was looking for something inexpensive but after careful research I decided it was worth it to spend the extra money. I’m so glad I did! I live in a semi rural area with very few sidewalks and the area is not flat. When I leave my house and go downhill, I have to go uphill to get home (obviously). We have a horse path and a bike/foot path that’s a little better but it’s always uphill to go home. The features on this stroller are amazing. It opens like a clamshell so it’s easy for him to get in or he can go in through the back, zippered door. This one is one of the few that are low to the ground so I don’t have to pick him up to put him in. The best features are the big “off road” wheels. I never would have been able to go over bumps, uneven ground or through the mud (it was raining here for the last week)I’m 66 years young and had a back injury with 2 surgeries over the last 2 years an I can push it easily.1. The size is perfect for my 24#, slightly chubby, little guy But it wouldn’t fit a dog much larger than that.2. My main living area is on the 2nd floor so it’s a little awkward to get down stairs but I could never have done it without the big tires3. Two cups holders and a compartment for my cell phone is great4. The mesh top has a zippered area that can be opened so he can look out I wish it had something attached that I could pull over to cover it especially when it’s raining or in hot weather but it’s not a dealbreaker by any meansIf you are considering this, don’t hesitate. You won’t be disappointed

    PERFECT!
I have two 10-pound havanese puppies (both under a year old) and we travel a lot. They don’t have any mobility issues but they are little pranksters – so I find a stroller invaluable when checking into hotels and walking around shopping centers or art festivals. This stroller is perfect! I tried the 3-wheel PetGear double stroller and it was impossible to maneuver and super heavy. This stroller is much lighter to lift, folds much flatter, is much easier to set up and fold, and it gives the puppies more room to move around. I could easily fit 4 or possibly 5 puppies in this. They (and I) love the “sun roof”. However, I’ve only had it for a few weeks and we’ve only used it twice, but I feel like it’s not super sturdy and won’t last long. Not sure, just a feeling. For example, the zipper around the sun roof is already tearing away from the fabric. I only zipped it once and it’s already tearing. I think it might be from the fabric stretching when the stroller is being unfolded. So we’ll see. If it lasts a year of our adventures then it will have been well worth the $250 and I would happily buy it again.

Perfect size for my 3 adult cats to lay together comfortably, nice and roomy, 3 different ways to help them inside, easy to assemble, nice big wheels and 360 rotation allows for easy turns and smooth ride, adjustable handle makes for super comfortable handling, sturdy and well-made but not too heavy to lift, not cheap looking, works well on bumpy terrain, well worth the $, couldn’t possibly imagine a more perfect stroller for our daily walks. Best of all, the Gingerbread Boyz (my kitties) love it so much they sit and sleep in it when it’s parked at home. Fantastic product.

After watching the first season of Only Murders In the Building I decided to search for a walk-in style dog stroller similar to the one used by Martin Short’s character for his bulldog. Pet Gear’s stroller nicely fit the bill. I love how easy it was to install the wheels and cup holder. I love the design of the stroller and the fact that the top can be opened or zipped. I also love that my dog was quite happy to use it (I twice threw a few dried chicken treats inside the stroller). However the “door” on the Candy Red version has a plastic piece that has to be depressed to open the door: it will be a real problem if it breaks. In addition, there are a few other pieces in the stroller which likely will wear quickly such as the wheel housings. Despite these concerns I’m delighted with the stroller because it is every bit as convenient as I imagined.

This stroller is not big enough for a medium dog. My cocker spaniel couldn’t even turn around while in there. This is suitable for a dog under 20lb.It’s a great stroller though!!

Style is great, no zipper door feature is great, the fact that it’s lower to the ground than other brands is great (I have bulldogs), and the fact that you can lift the covering and allow the dog a full view and breeze is great…. but I have bought 4 of these strollers and so far 3/4 strollers broke the front wheel – from folding in on itself. It’s really frustrating and expensive to replace but for all the reasons mentioned in the beginning, the design is better suited for my English Bulldogs. I hope they will make the front wheels more sturdy in the future as I’ve many many reviews with the same experience.
