Itâs not super warm.
What I like was the bigger size. And I can set the control to 24 hours to keep the two cats warm. While am gone all day. Itâs not super warm, but it does the job to keep my cats happy and warm enough.

Warms VERY slowly
The size is great. I’ve got a Great Dane and she fits well. She likes warm and I had hoped this would make her nice and comfy this winter. It has 6 temperature levels that all feel like level 1 for the longest time. Eventually it does warm up, but is very slow getting there. I use it indoors only, but it does appear well made for possible outdoor use.

Attempted to use in our well-insulated dog house, but could barely feel any heat from it at all. Absolutely worthless in outdoor, colder settings–meanwhile, consumes a LOT of electricity.

Check the size – It matters. We’ve gotten a couple for our dogs. Needed a new one for the outdoor cat. ( rural area; rodent control ). The pad is great – controls are easy to navigate.My error – got big dog size for cat. I was able to “curl it around” his night time cat cage which is working well.

Perfection
This heat pad is exactly what it says! The cover is soft and washable. The construction of the cord to prevent destruction by the dog is exactly what I needed. My dog thinks eveything is s chew toy but she doesn’t even mess with this. The larger size is perfect because it covers the whole bed. I am gonna by one for me for the foot of my bed to keep my fist warm. They are way better than store bought heating pads!
