Worth the price!
So worth the price!! My two cats have different diets and this prevents them from eating each otherâs food. Therefore, my cats arenât overeating or undereating per their specific diets. The app is very handy and easy to manage, it even notes how frequently each cat visits their feeder, and notes exactly how long each cat ate. This product is a lifesaver for the busy cat parent!!

Just what we needed for peace of mind.
I was skeptical at first because of the high price tag, but I already had used a PetLibro auto feeder in the past, just not one with a chip, and it worked great. I recently took in a kitten with a host of health issues that needed special food, and it’s rather expensive, and the resident cat kept eating it (and she stealing his food and keeping him from eating). So I caved and used Affirm to get this.They were quick to set up, basically assembled already, and the app was easy to use. The app will try to bug you into buying a subscription, but it’s not necessary to use the feeder. You can adjust how quickly or slowly the lid opens, like how I have mine set to 1s delay because my cats are fast and thieves lol. You can turn off the meal time call; in my experience, food hitting the bowl is all the alert they need.They are no longer eating each other’s food, it’s quiet, and it works as intended. Very pleased and would recommend.

Great for multiple cats with dietary restrictions
These have been an investment worth every penny. We have two cats, one of which requires a prescription diet. That transition was impossible until I ordered these RFID feeders. These allow for our prescription grazer to eat on her own schedule, and prevent the other from binging her Rx food. The storage capacity of the feeders is nice, and I’m glad for the (maybe not quite) vacuum seal of the lid.We did unfortunately have to replace the collars that came with the devices, one cat had an allergic reaction to the material, the other was able to chew through the collar even with it sized properly. The collars were rather cheaply made to begin with considering the price of the devices. Easily fixed however! I also enjoy being able to see via the app when & how long they’re eating for.

Why did I wait so long?
Apart from the fact that this product only works with the supplied RFID, it is the best way to feed your cat the precise amount throughout the day. It only works with dry food, but they have one for refrigerated wet food! They also have a water fountain that keeps track of how much each of your cats drink during the day. It seems cats can share a water fountain. All these machines work with supplied RFID. They need to provide the option to use it with their chip. The tag is too big, oddly shaped, and gets in the way when they drink water from a bowl. They totally need to redesign the tag. It’s the worst feature of the whole thing. The product is easy to install. It needs three D batteries. I bought Alkaline ones for now, but will order rechargeable ones. Eight batteries was $20 at a local supermarket on sale! If you have overweight cats, cats that need special diets, or a dominant cat that eats everybody else’s food, then this is the only solution. Another problem is that I had that I had to buy two; one each for my two cats. They can’t share one feefer. Each one can only be paired with one unique tag. The feeders are expensive, but I bought them with the Amazon card and spread the cost over 12 months. In the long run, it’s going to be much cheaper than vet bills. Overweight cats can get all sorts of costly illnesses. Also, obesity reduces their life span.There are a few flimsy plastic pieces, but assembly was easy. I suggest watching a video on YouTube.This product has an app. It was easy to pair it with the WiFi, and set up the cars’ feeding amount and times. You need your WiFi password. One of my cats got to it easily. The sensitive one is still hesitant, but it’s oy been one day.

Great product for cats, saves me money on petsitters
Before I purchased this product I would have to book a catsitter twice a day to come make sure my two cats didn’t eat each other’s food and fight. Now that we have this my petsitting cost has reduced by 75% and my cats are getting along much better!I wish this product were compatible with their microchips because I do worry about the rfid tag falling off their collars, but there is no competitor offering any auto-feeder like that today. I don’t think most people would want to use the included collars as they are low quality but the rfid tag can be removed and placed on any other collar with a key ring. The rfid tag is also a little bigger than is ideal and kinda hangs down like a bell on my cats collars, but they got used to it really quickly and it hasn’t been a problem.Overall I highly recommend this product!
