Working well
I love this bulb. I tried a WiFi smart bulb for a while but had connection issues, and if my Internet was out obviously couldn’t adjust it. This Bluetooth bulb works fine, the app is fine, it takes a little bit to connect when I first open the app but hey. I really appreciate all the “scenes” especially the candlelight setting.

Excellent
Hue is always the way to go for me. These were a nice addition to our glass light figure. I love how they look.

Brilliant addition
Love love love these lights. I have a few of these set up in one light fixture, and they elevate it to a different level. Iâm a Hue fan, and these are just another beautiful and practical addition to the eco system.Update: Absolutely obsessed with these lights. Love the change in color tone from warm to cool. Can even set it up to change through the day. Works great with motion sensor.Of note, I was concerned if how these would work with the switch which is a (non smart) dimmer switch. Just keep the switch on, and keep it on full power. Manage using app â and it works perfectly. If physical dimmer is lowered, the bulbs go crazy

Cool light but for desk use it is blinding at 100% brightness
I bought this bulb to use as a side lamp on my desk, as I think it has a unique look compared to any other desk or task light. It does look cool and functions fine, however my issue with it is maybe an uncommon complaint for light bulbs.. it’s soo bright!! Like it hurts to look even as low as ~40%.Now of course you might say just don’t look directly at it. First off, with brightness at ~60% and above, it’s even painful/distracting out of my peripherally vision. Secondly, this bulb is clearly designed and advertised to be used without a shade and to have the bulb design, with the cool fake incandescent wiring, be the main feature. At very low brightness it’s nice because you can actually look at it and appreciate the design and I’d prefer to have it always at this low brightness (the problem is most default scenes and settings default it to 100% brightness). If you’re planning to put near eye level (i.e. desk, table, etc), I warn you that you’ll likely have this issue. Ceiling mounted might be less of an issue.NOW I want to say there is a very straighforward fix Hue could add to to the app for this.. brightness limiter! If I could go into the light settings and set the limit to a certain amount, let’s say ~20%, then I would immediately love this bulb. Because everything else about it works great. I know I can make all custom scenes and stuff with it at a lower brightness, but certain default scenes will always have it at 100% and blast my eyeballs.

Looks lovely and dims to very low. Definitely gives a nice ambience to the room.
