Expensive but worth it.
I have a chandelier that needs a bunch of these. It is unfortunate the market for B39 style smart bulbs is so niche but these things perform absolutely perfectly. Phillips really has the design and aesthetic down for these. They have a ‘bulb within a bulb’ look which looks excellent. The brightness and color reproduction are outstanding.

Hue lights are great as long as you stick with them
I got some Hue lights from Costco I think, and we ended up really loving them. They were more living room size lights, but I wanted something for the office fan, and these did the trickObviously, it’s an ecosystem of its own, so you can’t really try anything they don’t also support in the app unless you wanna juggle multiple apps, hubs, etc.

Pricey and not very bright, but excellent for ambiance
Not as bright as the regular bulbs, which means you need to buy more to light a room of equivalent size. The addition of the multiple colors is great. That being said, these lights are overpriced, especially considering that if you are trying to put them in a pendant or chandelier, you likely need more than one or two. For example, the chandelier that came with the apartment I’m renting is non-removable, and has over 15 e12 sockets; I’ve had to slowly fill it out with a mixer of the White Ambiance candles and four of these White & Color ambiance candles. It’s been hundreds of dollars for just some lightbulbs, but ultimately I love the flexibility, ambiance and usability that Hue offers and that’s what I use in my house, so I bought them. Just know what you are getting into financially.

Nice addition
I needed to replace the bulbs in my ceiling fan light so I used these since I’m slowly replacing the lights in my house with smart bulbs. It’s nice to have my Google turn on and off the lights so I don’t have to get out of bed and the fan can stay on

For the last 4 months, I have been using this 4 pack of generic E12 bulbs for my ceiling fan. Each bulb didn’t even last ONE MONTH before burning out!Good thing they were only 5 bucks, but that’s not the point.The main reason I bought those cheap ones was because I didn’t know which socket my fan used and I didn’t want to spend the money for a Hue bulb that didn’t fit.So when I realized E12 was the correct socket, I knew I needed to buy one of these as soon as possible.I’d say the wait was rough, but as I said, the cheap kind didn’t last long. I’ve been using the Hue bulb for a month now and it’s fantastic! There’s no sign of burning out and it’s just as bright as ever.The ability to dim the lights is nice and it’s perfect for when you get up in the middle of the night and don’t want to hurt your eyes, but the fact that it can change colour is AWESOME!Some days, you just want the lights to be green, y’know?The fan is right next to my computer, so I use Hue Sync when I watch movies or play games on it, which is so fun to do. There is nothing cooler than watching a movie, then suddenly, everything goes dark. It really helps with immersion.These lights do small things, but they add a lot when used right.Get one as soon as you can.

Great options to change the color and brightness. Not too bad to set up. Has lasted a long time.
