Added these in a 3-spot fixture. Generally easy set up once you have a Hue system going. Similarly works well with Apple Home once you have it set up.

After owning 100 or so hue products, itâs good to see that they have expanded into a large range of bulb types. If you have an old fixture or require a smaller bulb these fit the bill. I used these for picture lights that I hardwired into our wall. Given the hue ecosystem we already have, it was a no brainer.

A great, bright bulb
Itâs bright, color changing that adds a solid amount of ambient light without being too overpowering to the eyes. Itâs a nice and easy install with zero collection issues. Best of all itâs Philips, which I have never had an issue with and still havenât with this product. Long lasting and consistent bulb.

A great smart light. This light is easy to set up. Philips Hue claims this light has a 10+ year lifespan. I can’t review on how long they last as I’ve only used a short time. I set this us to use with Alexa and it’s been working great so far. Some key points I noticed while using:⢠Bluetooth compatible⢠Can be used for white as well as colored light⢠Lights can be dimmed to your preference⢠400 lumens⢠2 year warranty⢠Voice controls can be used with Alexa and Google AssistantOverall, I really enjoyed controlling my lights with voice commands. The light routine option is something new, that previous smart lights I’ve tried haven’t offered. A 24 hour light scene, that mimics the natural daylight can be set up. I found this as a great option to relax, and end the day. The only negative I’ve found is that I think the price point is a little high. Other than that this is a great home addition.

Not much to say other than that as per my experience with Philips, they work and they work well. There also seems to be some kind of built in feature for if you plug it into a dimmable light fixture thatâs not at full power, as they start to flicker. I liked that cuz Iâd wondered if my apartmentâs fixtures werenât supplying as much power as needed and I think that answered it.Love the programmability too, colours, daytime variations, etc. definitely worth the value as far as I can tell.
