We got this for diaper changes downstairs on the couch. It’s absolutely perfect, easy to fold up and put away when not using and pull it back out again when needed. I just wish it were a smidge bigger, as our little one is very wiggly and if I want to put the dirty diaper on the mat as opposed to on the couch, it’s hard to find somewhere where she won’t get her hand or foot in it. We’ve also had multiple instances where she pees during the diaper change and it ran off the pad and onto the couch. So definitely not absorbent – we just wipe it off with a Clorox wipe if she leaks onto it (not sure what the cleaning instructions are).

I got a really nice Carterâs diaper bag with the separate organizer insert from the thrift store and whoever donated it kept the changing pad that came with it (which, yeah, idk if Iâd have used it anyway). This fits perfectly in the little slot in the bag where it was supposed to go. Fits nicely on any public bathroom changing table and wipes clean easily as well. I like the little pillow spot for babyâs head as well. This item gets a completion discount if you do your baby registry on Amazon.
