Too pricey but seems to work
Like other reviewers mentioned this product tastes really really bad. You must mix in fruit and a sweetener of ur choice to make it tolerable. However, when used with other proteins powders regularly (at least one serving every day), it seems to help build and maintain muscle mass. It just costs too much for the average person to use on its own. So I use it in tandem with other proteins powders. If u give it a try for the benefit, try using it with other powders to make it last longer and with fruit & sweetener to make it tolerable. It’s worth a shot when used this way.

Costly, but effective
This product works. For the past 5 weeks I’ve had this shake for breakfast and often times lunch with a protein and vegetables for dinner. I’ve removed all bad carbohydrates from my diet and I’ve lost 13 pounds. Still trying to lose 10 more pounds. I still had a glass or couple glasses of red wine a night. Stayed away from all sweets and carbs. I did read reviews about this powder tasting grainy, so I mixed with ice, some water, a banana and strawberries. It tastes great to me and filling. Seems to take my body a couple weeks to adapt to a change, but I started noticing weight loss during my third week. My only complaint is the cost. Right now I’m really happy with the results, but I may need to switch to something less expensive when I reach my goal.

Great taste, easy clean up, . . . what’s with the lid?
I’m usually looking for good, healthy, easy to make, easier to consume products as steps towards a healthier diet and me. Watching Tony Horton’s endorsement video for the product and being somewhat intrigued by the leading idea of building muscle just by being active, I decided to take a chance on this.Product was received on time as expected. I was a little disappointed to discover that my $50 was for a two week supply (1 serving a day). After getting the lid off, I was greeted by a puff of fine dust and discovered that the scoop was buried at the bottom of the container. This stuff sticks to just about anything that isn’t a smooth, plastic surface. Great for almond milk or water – not great on hands or kitchen counters.The flavor is great in comparison to other dry breakfast or meal replacement shakes I’ve used. Not chalky, not gritty, and actual chocolate flavor – not overwhelming like a double brownie or fudge flavor. I tend to make my shakes in a blender bottle and this product is amazingly easy to clean up. A couple of swishes of water and I practically felt like I didn’t need to wash the shaker to clean out any grit.lid.This is the first product that I’ve ever received in an oversized plastic container where it is an effort every time to easily and quickly put the lid back on and insure that it’s closed. I’ll easily spend a minute or two going round and round or back and forth seeking that “sweet spot” knowing that closure can be achieved. This would be better served by a snap on lid.Overall: feels pricey, is a tough top to close, and beats the competition in terms of taste and clean up. Probably a good post workout fuel or occasional meal replacement.
