My favorite protein bar of ALL TIME
I have tried a good number of protein bars and I would HIGHLY recommend Probar! It is so filling and so delicious, I feel like I really am getting a complete meal from a single bar. I keep one in my bag at all times and just feel like I don’t have to deal with brain fog with how busy my work schedule sometimes gets because I have a meal-on-the-go!

Not A Healthy Choice
Entirely too much sugar! Read the nutrition information. These bars have an acceptable number of calories, carbs and protein. But their sugar level is sky high. One bar is 24% of the daily recommended consumption of sugar! That is terribly unhealthy. Based upon my daily activity level I typically consume 2, or 3 bars a day. Three bars is almost 75% of your sugar allowance. Not much room left for anything sweet, or naturally occurring sugars in other foods for the rest of the day, plus there is the cumulative effect of consuming that much sugar on a regular basis. My previous protein bar of choice was Ultra Bar, but they are not currently available. Their sugar level percentage for daily consumption was ZERO %. I have switched to “Think!” protein bars, which have less calories, less salt and 0% sugar compared to Pro Bar. For me, protein bars are a convenient meal substitute and for the most part healthy. Other than Ultra Bar, it has been an ongoing challenge finding an equivalent substitute that is healthy, affordable and does not taste awful. I gave away my remaining Pro Bars, and warned the person not to have more than one a day, unless they plan to consume almost no sugar for the rest of the day. Once again, read the label. Hope this is helpful.

These are like a candy bar in terms of flavor quality. Theyâre solid and the outer chocolate layer doesnât flake off becoming too messy – Iâve enjoyed them on flights without getting my hands dirty or having half the bar crumble like other options.

I absolutely love Probars, especially when they have a good Amazon price point. The cookie dough tends to be my favorite flavor, but as other reviewers have noted, I would not order these from June-Sept. because if they have sat in a hot warehouse, a delivery truck in the sun, or been left in a mailbox/on your porch for an hour or two, or any combination of the above, what you will get is a re-solidified brick instead of the soft and delicious probar I have grown to love. My last few orders have been hard and show signs of melt, even when I made sure to get my Amazon package right when it was delivered. Itâs too bad because I like these for breakfast, but this is now a winter meal bar.

Chocolate brownie is perfect
The cookie dough one is meh, the mint chocolate pretty good, the chocolate brownie one is delicious, great texture. Real sugar, and not too too much of it. Decent amount of fiber too, which helps with the sugar metabolization. Standard 20g of protein, but dairy free, not chewy, not heavy. Itâs perfect.

I like only how dense the bar is, and how little aftertaste there is. I didn’t think it was very tasty, or even close to the way cookie dough actually is. I had to chew every bite up a lot. I wouldn’t buy these again. I will stick with One protein bars instead.
