Very Cute
My cat’s tiny front teeth had to be extracted last year. Recently, he started eating fast, and onece he inhaled a little juice through his nose when the food was on the ground and had a minor aspiration which scared me to death. He would not stop coughing. I didn’t want a bowl with high ridges at the same time to hit his gums. This is perfect for him. I love it â¤ï¸ he does not have to dive in the food and I noticed it’s easier for him to pick up wet food from different sections of the bowl.

“PURRFECT” PUZZLE FEEDER
I’ve been looking for this perfect feeder. Pedistal feeder prevents “whisker fatigue”. The adorable cat face allows our kitty to slowly eat her food. The dry morsels lodge themselves in to the grooves of the cat face design and slows the feeding frenzy down. Wet food would also work great with this design. I added the white bowl under pedistal bowl because once a year in July we have Big Headed ant issues. Placing the pedistal bowl in another bowl filled with water creates a “mote” so the ants do not swarm cat food…it really works! The height of feeder is 4″ – perfect. The feeder is weighted well & made of ceramic not plastic which can cause feline acne. My kitty loves her new bowl…thank you, great product!

*UPDATED REIVEW* Aesthetic and functional looking bowl BUTâ¦
I waited to see how this slow feeder would hold up after my cat began using it. Itâs really great for wet foods, but not so much dry foods (the grooves arenât deep enough to really slow him down with kibble). Itâs heavy (minimal sliding around while he eats), great height, pretty (I love the cat face), and does a decent job at slowing down his eating, howeverâ¦the bowl literally unstuck perfectly between the base and bowl part while he was eating! You can see the leftover residue/glue used to hold both pieces together. For the price and quality, Iâm quite disappointed because I really love this bowl and so does he. I think I got a bad apple as I have ordered this bowl as gifts in the past and this has never happened. Iâm hoping customer service can help fix this issue as itâs outside of the return window and now my cat and I have a broken bowl.*UPDATE*Customer service was very attentive and prompt. They reached out to me after seeing my review and did not hesitate to send me a new bowl. I really appreciate it since it was outside the Amazon return window. So far (almost 2 weeks) the new bowl is holding up well. Just be careful if you do end up buying this bowl, as other reviewers have also encountered this problem (the bowl and base detaching). Thank you so much for our new bowl!

Surprisingly good
My cat was vomiting regularly and I was on the verge of taking her to the vet but decided to try this food bowl first because I thought she might be eating her food too fast. I was unsure about this bowl in particular because the ridges didn’t seem high enough but I liked the way it looked better than a lot of the others and it had good reviews so I thought I’d give it a try. It worked! She stopped vomiting all the time. The bowl isn’t some hideous thing that clashes with everything in my house, it’s easy to clean, and it’s nice and sturdy.

Great bowl
Bought this for my cat who eats way to fast she sometimes throws up. Have been using this bowl for a couple months now, and she has not thrown up once! I like the elevation of the bowl, its perfect height for her to stand and eat, or even sit. I tried a couple other slow feeder bowls, but with wet food, they didn’t work as well. This one works great with wet food so we have been very happy with it!

To begin with, the box was already opened. It was clearly a return as the bowl still had food stuck in it. Gross, but at least it wasn’t damaged otherwise. I really needed the bowl, so I just washed it well before I added my cats’ food.The bowl itself is fine. The cat face is cute, but isn’t much of a slow feeder. Thankfully, the cat I’m using this for doesn’t particularly need that feature, it’s the gremlin cat that shovels and steals food that needs it. He hasn’t stolen food in quite some time, so hopefully he never notices the easy pickings.Seems to be appropriate height. My cat’s neck isn’t arched awkwardly and he looks more comfortable when eating. He’s a light eater, but I’m hoping this helps encourage him to eat once or twice in a day instead of constantly jumping up to eat. I did tape down the base as I feed this cat on top of a cat tree, but I think it’s durable enough to take a hit on a carpeted floor without issue.

These bowls are perfect! Theyâre heavy enough that it wonât topple over, they have cute grooves to squish food into for slower eating and itâs all one piece so an easy wash or rinse. Iâm a big fan.
