A+ quality
I bought this collar Dec of 2022 and Iâm impressed at how well itâs held up. My dog wears it everyday, and the condition is close to the day we got it.My dog plays rough. Through wrestling and outdoor activities (swimming, camping) itâs still going strong. It goes through the washing machine at least monthly, sometimes 3x/mo (in a garment bag and air died) and has held up great. No fraying and looks great after a year and 9 months.I put a rivet tag on the adjustable side so the metal backing doesnât touch him. There is one string of red stitching that came off, but thatâs the spot I made holes to attach a rivet tag, I expected it to get weaker in that area but it hasnât.Itâs comfortable, a neutral design and I really like the width. Iâm tempted to buy another as a back up, because my luck it wonât be available if/when I want a new one. But it doesnât look like Iâll need a new one for a while. A+ to whoever designed and makes them.Photos are all over a year and a half of daily use

Solved our problem!
We adopted a dog from a shelter. She is sweet, but a little too submissive and had the strange habit of pulling backward on the leash. I supposed she had learned previously she could slip out of her collar that way. I have not had a dog do that before. She is NOT a breed with a narrow head, she is a bully breed. I guess her loose skin helped her wriggle out of the collar. The normal collar I had on her at first, would not stay tight enough to prevent her collar escape. I would have to tighten it every two days or so, and still did not feel safe that she would not be able to run free. This collar SOLVED our problem! For the first day, she tried her old trick pulling backward on the leash – no good, the collar could not come off! She seemed to learn that lesson quickly, and after 1 day, no longer pulls backward on the leash! I can now take her out with zero worries about our dog running off freely while we are on a walk! The other problem solved by this collar involves our dogs’ submissive behavior. She will roll over at the drop of the hat – much more than is warranted – and then she wants to stay on the ground. This collar causes her to get right up and keep moving. I really believe this collar will help discourage her too submissive behavior and help encourage her toward normal “doggie self confidence”.It is a beautiful collar, very well made. I love the purple lotus pattern. It is 1.5″ wide, which is wide. I knew that when I ordered it, but still was a little surprised by the width. I have gotten used to it quickly, especially in light of the positive effects it is producing in our dog!

A little bigger than described, but love it!!
I love the colors and the pattern! Its perfect for my dog. Its a little bigger than expected but it still fits her. I bought a large in another pattern also for my other dog that has a slightly bigger neck and is still growing. According to the description, it should fit him since i measured his neck before ordering. But it is too big so I will have to return it to get a size medium. I would just take a few inches off your measurements and go with that. This collar is great. It shows their spunky personalities. And its wide so its comfortable when it tightens as they pull. I had problems with other tightening collars i have tried where they will stay tight, it wouldnt release when they stop pulling so its just constantly choking. This one is perfect!!! It only tightens as needed and only as much as needed. Its well made and the colors are vibrant. It doesnt look cheap. Ive only had it for a few days but i totally love it. i cant find collars like this at my local petsmart. Will definitely buy more in different patters. they are so pretty!

Great Dane Loves it and so do I…
I love this martingale collar! It looks stunning on my black Great Dane. He is a little over a year old, weighs in at 125 lbs and is still growing. This will definitely be his forever collar for as long as it holds up. The collar was almost too big on him when he was 11 months old, I had to tighten the collar to it tightest. However now I have it set at about 2 inches from its tightest length and have plenty of color left to adjust as he continues to grow. I love the martingale style collar since it acts and a choke collar when he pulls on the leash, basically its self correcting. This collar is made out of a very sturdy material and will look very tough/sturdy (like it can’t bend) for about 2-3 weeks but then it breaks in and will soften up to your dogs neck. I looks beautiful and had held up in the wash. In fact the collar looks very expensive in real life that people call it his “Furberry” collar! Also the width (1 1/2in) of the collar is great for Danes, Mastiffs, Dobies, Rotties ect… really any large or GIANT breed dog owner will love the security this collar offers.

Nice looking, sturdy
I bought this martingale-style collar for my adult greyhound. It looks quite nice, appears sturdy and well-made, and I haven’t had any problems. The D-ring to attach the leash to is very large and easy to find. I like that this collar is very wide (1.5 inches), more wide than most, so it is more comfortable for the dog than a more narrow collar. The only minus is it lacks an extra D-ring to attach license or rabies tag, etc, but the D-ring to attach the leash is large and has plenty of extra room for tags.I did made the mistake of leaving it in reach of my dog and he chewed on it, got about half-way through (he once ate part of a leather boot), but it appears to have plenty of excess strength and still be usable for my dog. I ordered a new one to be safe.I would recommend this or any martingale-style collar for any dog who tries to back out of their collar or pulls on their leash, but doesn’t need something more drastic. Martingale-style collars are safer and more humane than a choke collar, since they are wide, made of material and can only tighten within a range, they are less likely to injure your dogs throat. You do need to buy the right size though (see the guide in the product description), my greyhound took a medium even though he is 80 pounds (greyhounds have narrow necks and heads).

Great martingale collar for our very large Great Dane… he’s looking stylish, and we have the ability to control him at key moments by hitching it up high and using the martingale feature.Sizing: The 1.5″ width is perfect for a 175 pound dog! It’s not rocket science to figure out the circumference of your dog’s neck, but the nice thing about this collar is how much play it has to expand or shrink to fit.Durability: Could be better, I admit, because after about a year, the fabric wears thin. But at less than $20, we don’t mind replacing every 12-14 months. No issues with stitching or the hardware on the collar, and no worries about its strength — the issue is purely cosmetic.

Bought this martingale collar for our greyhound mix as she seem to be able to slip out of regular collars. Not this one, works great and helps keep her calm. It is very stylish as well and the pink looks very smart against her black fur.

I love this collar for my dog. My dog pulls quite a bit, and although he’s only 40lbs the pulling can get quite annoying and the thinner collar made me feel like I was strangulating him. The thickness of this collar is great because it covers a larger area of his neck and I don’t feel like it’s hurting him. Great quality too!

Awesome quality, fit and finish. For ease of use it would be great to have an easy clip buckle to get collar on and off
