This sturdy rear cover works easily with my pet’s Sure feed microchip feeder. Just squeeze the two tabs gently on either side to slide onto the feeder and you are done. Keeps the other cats out of one anothers bowls. At time of review the price was 34.99, in my opinion that is on the high side of pricing for what it is, other than that works as it should.

Fits SurePet Microchip Feeder PERFECTLY
I have a lot of microchip feeders and for the most part I have no issues with food being stolen. But I do have a few feeders that are separate from the others and this can cause some sticky paws! I think it’s a terrible design flaw and the fact that the manufacturer charges so much for this addition even though it should be included as part of the product is disgusting honestly. This is almost half the price of the original and fits just as well. You just clip it onto the feeder. It doesn’t interfere with the door or the buttons. Perfect fitExcuse the food mess on the feeder, I forgot to take a pic when I put it on and I snapped a shot right after she finished eating…she’s a slob!

PERFECT FIT!!! Now no more stealing food!!!
The sensor feeders are great for cats, until the other cat just steals food from behind. This cap closes off their access but still provides enough room for the cat, who is supposed to be eating, to still eat. He didnât act like anything was closed off and heâs pretty skittish while eating but this was totally âsafeâ to him. The functionality of this is genius and solves a problem the original device should have thought about !!!

Fits perfectly and costs much less than name brand
I have the Surefeed microchip feeder. This was a bit of a challenge to figure out how to put on (there were no instructions) but I got it and it fits perfectly! Also, it doesn’t interfere with the lid when opened or with the buttons in the back.It doesn’t move at all so it won’t wiggle out for cats who poke around for holes (there are none). I’ve included pictures that will hopefully help others.I would definitely buy this again – especially since it’s about $20 less than the Surefeed brand.
