They taste good
I bought these and the Tru drinks, along with some Kava drinks. I find myself reaching for Recess mood first because of the taste. They are relaxing, but nothing like a real sedative, so set your expectations low when it comes to a change of state, but they’re just enough for me to have a nighttime drink to balance out the coffee I drink during the day.
Kava might be more of an intoxicant, but it is really not that great. I will drink them before social situations, but it might cause liver damage so I wouldn’t make it a regular habit. The Recess mood drinks seem harmless from a herbal/drug standpoint. I don’t think you can overdo the ingredients, which makes them slightly more attractive in my mind.
I think I will buy them again. I don’t know why, but it’s important for me, psychologically to have some sort of drink to balance out coffee, even if they don’t do that much. I have noticed that when I drink them, in the morning I wake up with the satisfied feeling of a good nights rest.

It works!
I’ve tried sooooo many products and unfortunately nothing has worked as well as this. I was bouncing back and forth on my decision to buy this because I didn’t want to be disappointed especially with the price being high. I honestly don’t regret it at all. The drinks are delicious! I was mainly purchasung this product because I have extremely high anxiety and sleeping insomnia due to a TBI and PTSD. It surprisingly relaxed me within a few mins and I felt calm even when my anxiety was high at that moment. I will buy more and/or try their other products! Thank you!

Decided to try these as my preferred brand ( hiyo) was out of stock. They’re good – they have nice flavor, but they are more a carbonated drink and not more “juice” texture which is what I was looking for.

Spendy but my go-to alternative to alcohol
I love these drinks, especially the Strawberry Rose flavor.
Trying to break the habit of having a glass or two of wine every single evening, I am now really enjoying my nightly glass of Recess and other kinds of specialty waters.
Couldn’t say for sure if I am truly “calmer” after having one, or if it’s just the placebo effect. But I can safely say that they do not make me feel bad in any way, hungover if I have too many, or give me a headache or even anxiety that I sometimes get from white wine. So it’s a win!
Expensive for a sparkling water, but the only grocery store near me that carries these charges 3.98 per can, so buying this 12 pack on Amazon saves me a dollar a can. And if you consider that a $20 bottle of wine comes out to roughly $5 per serving, I am saving money that way too.

Perfect evening mocktail for no alcohol weekdays!
These Recess drinks have become my newest obsession, and I love cracking one open every evening to wind down. I replaced my nightly cocktail (saving those for the weekend now!) with a Recess, and my mind and body are so much better for it. The flavors are all wonderful, but my very favorite is grapefruit tangerine. The combination of magnesium and adaptogens truly does help my mind slow down and my brain and body feel calm, and I always sleep well when I end the night with one of these drinks. I love to pour mine over ice and drink with a straw, it’s the perfect end to my day.

Flavors Arenât Great
The only tolerable flavor is the strawberry rose and the only flavor I would consider repurchasing. The other flavors are pretty disgusting. I wouldn’t say these relaxed me, but I guess there’s some health benefits from drinking them.

Love the product
I love this product but letâs face it, itâs over priced. It doesnât really matter where you buy it, itâs too expensive for what it is. Good mood soda is more affordable and similar.
