This is one of the best working ones I’ve tried.
I have used at least six automatic cat feeders. One of them died in less than a year. Several work with apps. Some don’t.This one works with an app. It is also rechargeable, you can use it without being plugged in. Mine is in a convenient spot to leave plugged in. It worked seamlessly with then Smart Life app and I think it also works with TUYA. I have both and I wish all of these wireless products would work with the same apps so I didn’t have to have 50 extra apps installed on my phone so that is big win in my book that you don’t have to use a separate one for this.The dish is a little lower so the feed can actually fall into the dish and out of the way as it refills. I have it set to replenish multiple times throughout the day. The motor or the delivery mechanism is much better than several of the feeders that I have. It moves the food easily.The only thing that I do NOT love about this feeder is the lid. They made a nice simple flat round lid. You can’t usually open it one handed though. I have to use one hand to hold the feeder against me so that I can use the other one to turn the lid to be able to remove it. The smooth surface of the lid gives you nothing to work with. It’s a pretty good trade off though for the better motor and ease of use.

Nice, but an APP in needed to program
This is a nice feeder. My cat seems to like it.The feed container is somewhat small and take about 2-3lb of food depending on the kibble size. It works well with the Royal Canin food I feed my cat. It is quiet when dispensing but not very quick, it takes about 4 seconds per portion.The app works well and has a guest mode so you don’t necessarily need to create an account, but all the programing is done through it. There is no screen on the uint and a single button that feeds a portion, or resets the Wi-Fi connection.The setup instructions were clear and easy to follow.The feeder works plugged in to a USB brick (included) and has a rechargeable 18650 battery accessible from the bottom to act as a power source. I don’t know how long the battery would last since I use this plugged in, and it would depend on how often you set it to feed.Overall a nice feeder if you don’t mind using an app for setup and control.

excellent feeder
i got this because the vacation feeder i use for easy feeding is a pain to get the food to come out. No way the pets could eat if i left for a day or 2. This feeder is automatic. the food drops in the dispenser then it circles and drops the food into the tray. It took 2 cycles of feeding for the pets to recognize the sound and coming running to eat when the food dropped in the metal tray.Now I can leave for a day or 2 and not worry about the pets being fed. Best part is it connects easily to the phone app, and with my monitor i can see if it goes empty before it’s scheduled to feed and drop some food in the dish with the tap of a button.The other best part, is the battery. if your power goes out the battery will continue to feed the animals. I tested mine for fun and it fed through 6 cycles, i have mine set for 3 times a day so it fed the animals for 2 days before i plugged it back in. I think i could have gotten another day but i didn’t want it to die and forget to plug it back in.Must have for pet owners

Convenient and Compact Automatic Feeder with Easy Setup
This feeder is smaller than my old one (I previously had a 7L model; see pic for comparison), but I like that you can see the food level through the design. It includes a battery for backup, which is helpful, though I wish it used a standard-sized batteryâit looks like a larger version of a Double A, but Iâm not sure exactly what type it is. The feeder also came with a silica drying insert pre-installed on the lid, which is a thoughtful touch to keep the food fresh. Assembly was minimal, as it came mostly put together, with only the stainless steel bowl needing to be attached.The app was straightforward to install and pair, offering basic but functional features for setting feeding times and portion sizes. Overall, itâs a compact and practical option as we wanted to update to an app controlled feeder.

This was so easy to pair with the app!! Very easy to schedule the feeding times, too. Works great, nice to look at, and holds plenty of dry food for my cats!
