works miracles
When my fiancée threw her back out I got this for her and the second she put it on she started laughing with relief because it was the first thing that had made her feel better in days. Since then Iâve put one in every care package I make and send them to any friend or family member dealing with an injury, and have two in my house at all times. I like that itâs not electric, so it cools naturally before the heat becomes damaging to your body, but is very easy to re-heat in the microwave if you want to extend how long you use it. Itâs very soft and stays in place on the lower back very well (I have a wider middle and the extension strap fits just as well) and can easily be adapted to wrap around my bad knee or drape over a shoulder or around the neck for relief from neck pain. I swear by this thing and really think it should be a staple in any home first aid kit.

Can move around while wearing
Good amount of heat – I run for 90 seconds in my microwave. Heat lasts well. The extension strap is reassuring but I might only need it for an over the shoulder arrangement. Pink color is cute and fluffy. Comfortable to wear around! So now I am not stuck on couch or chair to heat my back.

Most amazing and effective moist large heat wrap I’ve EVER used!!!
I’ve been using heat wraps for decades and had many positive and negative experiences with and even had my favorites. This by far surpasses my expectations. It is super large, and the Velcro tie is really long and strong (and even comes with an extension if you need/want it). It doesn’t take nearly as long to heat up as the others I’ve used, and the moist heat penetrates deeper and longer imaginable. I have severe chronic pain in my thoracic and lumbar spine, and this is so effective…I had to write this review which is not a regular practice for me, but I know how frustrating it is when trying to decide on what type of product to buy on Amazon with so many available. THIS is a MUST HAVE if you want immediate relief and a quality wrap! I already purchased another one for my husband who has chronic pain in his neck and back, hips, feet and hands because this will work for all those areas! Please trust me and buy this product. I haven’t used the ice aspect but for heat it’s amazing!!!

Not as Hot as Others, Nice Fit, Hope it doesn’t burn through the material
I have used this type of pad most of my life, I”m 77, suffer from a back injury. I do like this style, it wraps around me nicely, for this review, must say I have about a 49″ waist and it fits me with room to spare. It is very convenient, in that it stays in place. I did not need to use the extensio that comes with it. The material is soft and feels moist when heated. It doesn’t heat nearly as hot as the pads I have purchased in the past from “Nature Creations” and it only stays hot for about 20 mins, so it doesn’t retain the heat too well. Overall, I like it. I still may urchase one from Nature Creations. Also I saw a picture of a user, (6th time she’d used it she said) where the beads had burned a hole in it. I HOPE THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN.

it started a fire in my microwave
It worked great for two months and then one day caught on fire in my microwave. Contacted the seller and they have NOT replied to me. So disappointed. My house stunk forever and it set off my smoke alarm. This product has caught on fire for lots of other…looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen if they continue to sell this and Amazon continues to have it available .

I was having so much back and neck pain at the time that I actually bought TWO microwave heating pads — this one, and one that was specifically designed for a sore neck. It was the inspiration of desperation. You know what? I should have just bought this one because it does everything. It’s shaped so that you can use it for your back, your neck, your shoulder, your knee — anything. And its velcro strap holds it in place. And the weight of it makes it sink into all the aching crevices your regular electric heating pad can’t reach. I read reviews that say the heat doesn’t last last long, and that’s both true and not true: the microwave heat dissipates, but it holds in the heat of your body, so that it’s actually warm enough to do the job as long as you want. Your body will always generate heat and this heating pad will always hold it in. I love it; I’ve been recommending it to all my friends. I recommend it to you!

I have suffered with an L5 prolapse disc for years. Whenever the back gets worse for whatever reason, I try and add a heat pack for during the day at work or if I am going out – particularly in this cold weather. I also have early onset of arthritis and get stiff joints/back/hips (I am only 55) in this damp so add heat again where possible. Up until now, I have always gone for the packs that stick either end that have magnets in them that heat up. These were fab as got really hot and lasted for hours. All day and through the night. Although they were expensive, they worked. For some reason – I can’t seem to find them anywhere? I can find the pads without the magnet pieces but I don’t find they work well at all and can easily come off. This was a bit of a punt as I have had a strap/Heated pad before that didn’t work that well. This works really well! It has some weight to it – but actually for some reason this is part of why it feels like its working. I heated the pad in the microwave for 2 minutes. 900w micro. It stays hot for about 1.5 – 2 hours. Once that initial heat has dies down – the weight and the material combined keeps that area warm too. The material covering the pad area is lovely and soft. It is a very comfortable shape for the lower back – which previously I have struggled to cover. The strap will go around a bigger person and the extension strap allows you to put it over clothes if you prefer to wear it on the outside. I would suggest a layer on the inside as the velcro straps and the extension can catch and be a bit scratchy if worn directly on the skin. Overall it is really comfortable. In fact I kind of forgot I was wearing it for most of the day at work today. My work involves multiple trips a day so I am in and out of the car. This did not budge until I took it off. Super pleased with this purchase and it has really helped when I went out one evening which meant standing around in the cold for some time. It just helped keep me warm the whole evening and definately made a difference to the stiffness I would have got, if I had gone out without it. Saving money too as reusable. Perfect Amazon purchase!

As someone with constant stomach pains that are debilitating I cannot stress how much freedom this heat pack gives me.It stays hot for like 20 minutes but when you are walking around anyway so its ok to top it up for 60 seconds in microwave.I need to move around sometimes when in pain and this gives me my hands freedoms back rather than carrying around heat packs.I like to do it up really tight and get assistance from another person to do this.You wont regret, its soft and does the job!
