We LOVE our Roku! We have older TV sets that are not smart and really appreciate these small devices that are easy to move to another tv and we have even taken on trips. Roku is a great service, easy interface, love the search function which works across all apps.

The Roku player I had been using stopped being supported by Hulu, so I had to purchase a newer model quickly. Initially, I was a little hesitant about purchasing a renewed product, but it works perfectly and meets my needs. I’m glad I purchased a renewed product instead of a brand new one. It was significantly cheaper and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Easy Streaming
It’s really discreet and comes with a short HDMI cable to attach to your TV.It’s a great streaming device that is ready to set up with lots of free options for viewing, including YouTube.Honestly, it’s totally worth it for me to have a cable subscription on only one TV (we have five as well as laptops and phones) so you can get the streaming apps like HBOMax, Showtime Anytime & Starz, etc., at a cheaper price in a package deal and then put a Roku everywhere else.My only issue is the Wi-Fi signal but I don’t think that has anything to do with the device but rather my crappy Optimum service.

The Roku IS compatible with App
I lost my remote so o got the Roku app which let’s you use your phone as a remote. This is better because you can type everything easier with the phones keyboard. I use my phone for Roku I bought from Best Buy, buy this Roku that O got from Amazon doesn’t even register with the app. It’s like it doesn’t exist. I believe Amazom Roki is not purely authentic and that’s why it doesn’t register with the App. Not pleased at all.Update: So I checked and realized I have a wi-fi booster that rented a secondary wi-fi network, so upstairs roku was on a different wi-fi network then my cell phone. I.changed it and now the app sees my Roku upstairs. So it my error. It works great!! I changed my rating to 5 stars.

I ordered these after I had gotten the stick ones because I really wanted the remote as pictured with a HULU button… simply put 1 button access was my goal ð

I love it!
I already had an earlier version of this so, I bought this one to replace it as mine was no longer updateable. I do have a tv with HDMI capabilities but my other one needed help with the connection. The picture is great and set on auto, it goes with any size screen you have. What I don’t like about the settings is that when there is a major holiday, Roku will change your theme for you (which sometimes is a cute thing BUT!), it will also throw off your screen resolution.Also, I love it because I can watch youtube ambiences and not have to worry about killing my laptop or phone memories or minutes.Yes, it asks you for your card number to register BUT there are settings that let you decide what to pay for. You can also set it so that it ASKS YOU for a pin before you buy. If you are worried about being hacked, that can happen anywhere, anytime with ANYTHING. If you are that paranoid (like I am), watch your statements, get security coverage and keep up with updates. I don’t have cable or the money to spend on it when really, all I need is on this little device powered by WiFi.

Please read the description prior to purchase, ensuring this will work for your particular Roku. I purchased this remote as I misplaced the original remote. In the interim I had a Roku that completely stopped working ; & I was able to use the remote. Eventually that remote stopped working. In turn purchasing this one. It works like a charm, I’ve had no issues.
