Great device to give life to a non-smart TV
I use it with my LD 3D TV (Yeah, remember those?) that I bought about 12 years ago. It is a passive 3D TV and the smart ones were just coming out to market, I think. So, I don’t want to have to connect my laptop every single time I want to watch Netflix or Crunchyroll.I works smoothly without any complications. It need to be connected to power via USB but you can use just one port of your TV, no need to buy an adapter like the une you use for your phone.The controller works great, I don’t have to point to the device, it will register every single time.I can’t think of any cons right now, it works as intended.

Recommended for first time Roku device users!
It is a great product for beginning roku users in my opinion, or even anyone who’s not looking to pay much for a streaming device that does pretty much the same as the other devices. The first: it is small and can be adhered on the edge of your TV, some are plugged usually behind the tv but you can easily slide this under your tv or whatever you want as far as the chord reaches.; the second, it uses USB power. My TV has an USB with power. So when TV is turned on or off the Roku is on or off. The USB cable has a tie band which bundles two cables together. So the TV still just uses a single power cable; the third, the platform is similar to other Roku devices and have many downloaded programs both pay and free content. The remove is easy to use, the set up is easy to use. All in all, I use this for a tv that isn’t smart in my guest room and it does the job.. Almost upset that I paid more for higher end roku devices and it pretty much does the same thing. Oh, and forgot to mention, the quality is good too, the tv I have it on, it gives it a nice high definition picture!

Worked like new. I (Naively or Stupidily your choice) bought a TV with no broadcast tuner. Luckily my IP (Comcast) includes streaming and locals via ROKU. Worked seamlessly. Thanks Amazon.

Worst “Refurbishment” Ever
This seems like it was boxed by someone else and never looked at again before being shipped off to the next idiot. I’m not sure what exactly is refurbished about this. The remote is jacked up all along one side, and there’s sticker junk on the Roku device, both of which can be overlooked; however, not being able to get the remote working and FRAYED power cord make it completely unusable. This is a scam plain and simple.
