Probably the best tv I’ve ever owned
I’ve only owned a few tv’s in my life and it’s been years since I had to buy one. I know nothing about TV’s and had to educated myself a bit before buying. I couldn’t afford top of the line new but I needed something that would work w a PS4 well as far as speed and ability to handle the graphics etc. Other features that were critical were Smart options as well as ease of use. Other considerations were of course picture quality and sound quality but I figured it would be pretty good on any new(ish) TV. So I online shopped on Black Friday and got this baby here. And let me tell you:THIS TV ROCKS.The Samsung mounts work perfectly and weren’t some crazy contraption that looks like it could haul you out of bed. Just two metal brackets that the tv settles on. You can pull it away from the wall easily and even take the tv off in 5 seconds if you lift UP. Easy to set up with all your passwords for various apps like Netflix. Remote is intuitive and easy to use.Picture quality is amazing. Sound is crisp and clear. Runs PS4 games like a champ. This is a great TV

Every day I like it more!
I haven’t bought a “good” TV in about 20 years. My last two were inexpensive Insignia Roku TVs under 32”. And when I bought my first one, my Mom and I spent a few weeks marveling at the picture quality (a measly 720 dpi!). I’ve been experiencing some deja vu the last week or so every time I watch something that is UHD.On the whole I think the TV is great! Larger than I expected, but that’s largely because I didn’t go out TV shopping at stores in person beforehand—I relied on Amazon’s recommendations and research. I really like the Tizen Smart TV interface and am looking forward to not having to deal with delays in new streaming apps because of Roku’s business dealings. It was pretty easy to set things up as I like and their store had all of the apps that I use regularly. The remote has actually been a delight to me. I would not have expected something so small and … condensed (as in it has so few buttons in comparison to my other remotes) to be so useful. I only use the bulky universal remote that I got from Spectrum when I need to use the cable box. Switching over to the Spectrum app removes that need entirely—which I love. The only thing that I haven’t really tried is the voice control feature.I’m really pleased with this purchase. The TV is great. The picture quality is amazing. The sound quality is better than I expected. The interface is nice. I’m super pleased!

eARC sucks, but overall I am happy..
Been using it for 3 weeks now and overall i am very happy with my purchase. Picture quality is great.. and I found the TV speakers to work very well (I saw several complaints about sound quality… I thought it was very good – still decided to add a sound bar anyway, so kinda moot). The remote is not good… It has minimal buttons (which CAN BE a good thing, but not when the functions they decide to add are useless) WHY IS THERE NO INPUT BUTTON ON A REMOTE IN 2021!.. Almost everyone uses more than one input these days and alot use several. I bugs me that I have to press the remote like eight times to switch from TV to BR player.. I bought a universal remote just so i could have an input button…I also am not happy that I PAID for my TV to show me ads that i am NOT interested in.. that sucks… but pretty common these days… hooked up my new soundbar using the HDMI eARC input and it worked great… for four days them crapped out and i have not been able to get it to work again. Had to use the optical input, which works, but now i HAVE to use the soundbar remote to adjust sound volume, whereas when the eARC was working you could use the TV or Universal remote… I checked a bunch of forms regarding the eARC and it appears to be an ongoing issue with Samsung TVs… It appears the only workaround is to unplug the TV and soundbar and all the HDMI cables and let it set for 10 mins… then plug everything back in… but it appears that this only works for “a while”, then you have to do it all over again… i will just stick with the optical.. (my SB is only 2.1.. optical will not support 5.1 or 7.1 so if you have a really expensive SB with this TV you HAVE to use eARC.. Those are real issues.. but still..over all the TV is very good for the price…

    Love this TV
Granted, this is a significant upgrade from what I had, but this is a great TV. I bought it with the Samsung sound bar to replace the main TV in the living room. Great quality UHD picture and great sound as well. Setup was easy, it has all the apps I want, it’s very light, and it has plenty of inputs. Just a few caveats though. I have an older Panasonic VCR/DVD recorder combo. It has HDMI out, but when trying to connect this there were connection problems. Perhaps all that is needed is a newer HDMI cable, but I haven’t bothered. I just hooked it up composite. Another thing is I thought the Samsung sound bar would be more easily controlled with the same remote as for the TV. Once connected it does simply take over as the TV sound, with +, -, and mute controlled by the TV remote with no problem. The trouble is the sound bar power stays on when you turn off the TV. In other words, I thought you’d be able to turn everything on and off at once. Not the case, or at least I haven’t figured it out. I just leave the sound bar on all the time. When you turn on the TV you first hear sound from the TV speakers for about 15 seconds while everything boots up, and then the sound bar takes over. Another thing is there are some OEM apps you can’t delete. This is a bummer, because it clutters up the home screen with things I won’t ever use.
