Donât work with WiFI.
Be aware that it doesnât work with WiFi, No HUB needed only Alexa or Bluetooth. This lights doesnât allows more than one person to control them, meaning you canât share this lights control with no one. Itâs disappointing because the WiFi lights you can share the same app and control of those.

Integration with Alexa not simple
When I finally succeeded (after multiple efforts) in integrating the lamps with my Alexa, the results were very satisfactory. The subtlety of color variation is not available in these floods, as it is in the standard sengled bulb, but the basic colors and levels are there.

Convenient hands free lights
I purchased these lights for the bedrooms and living room of our house. They paired well with our Amazon Alexa, Amazon Echo Dot, and our Amazon Echo Show 8 2nd Gen. it is important to know that you must have an Alexa hub nearby the lights you are trying to sync with it. Otherwise they will not link. Our internet is not the best, and we have to pair them again every time it goes out for an extended period of time. They stay linked up the entire time our internet is going though, so this shouldnât be an issue for most. I will say I wish there was a way to get back to the factory setting of light color and brightness from when you first install them. Once you change colors, there is not a way to get them that bright or that color again. At least not that I have found even with putting them at 100% brightness. You are able to change the color and brightness using just your voice or your Alexa app which is very convenient if you are wanting to change them based on the vibe you are going for. I love these lights.

Warning lights stopped responding Dec 2021
**Update 2022-2 8 sengled flood lights all working last year, then all stopped connecting to alexa in December. Tried to reconnect, troubleshoot with Amazon, no luck. Amazon got sengled on call, they blamed alexa software, but my other alexa devices all still work fine. I liked these lights cause not need to download sengled app. Now they say only way to fix is to use their app. Think sengled changed their product so we are forced to use their app. Can’t use these lights with Alexa app or verbally at all.These light bulbs were a snap to connect to alexa, not bright enuf for outdoor flood lights, but to have light in my basemnt where there are pull cords, no switches they work great. Used to trip in the dark getting to the pull chain, no more with these lights. Also liked I did not need to download another app to control these, just use Amazon alexa app which I already had.

Easy Setup but The Lights Would Randomly dim or go off on their own
Connecting these to my Alexa show was as easy as screwing them into the socket and they immediately connected (you can tell because they flash twice). But my chief complaint is, without warning, they would dim or turn off altogether and I would have too issue a voice command to turn the brightness back up or turn them back on.

Seriously easy to set up
If you just want an overhead flood light that’s easy to set up on Alexa and needs no extra hubs or phone apps then this is what you’re looking for. You literally just put this in, tell Alexa to detect new devices and you’re done. You can then control the bulb either through the Alexa app or by voice through Alexa. It’s literally that easy.

They work well as lights
Honestly I just needed some led flood lights for some cans in the ceiling of my family room. Didn’t need anything fancy just wanted a warm natural light. These bulbs were the cheapest I could find. The were warehouse returns and only a couple of dollars a bulb. I don’t care about wireless connectivity and Alexa. Don’t use it. Don’t careBulbs work great. When they first turn on, tge light will bring once then operate normally. Fine with me. They work
