Super easy setup
These bulbs were so easy to set up it was ridiculous just screwed them in turn them on and my echo device pick them up after I had use the app to connect them to Wi-Fi. They fit in all standard lamps and light fixtures with the 819 bulb size. I did not purchase the color bulbs I only purchased the white but they are controllable and brightness with just a word to Alexa they have a nice warm glow making the room look nice and comfortable and for the price and ease of use they were a great value. I would like to add that other bulbs I have purchased often had a flicker these did not flicker at all.

Terrible experience setting up.
This is a great set, especially for the price. I got it “used-like new” and it was a steal. I wanted to turn my home into a semi-smart home and replace all my lights. Sengled had a large pack for relatively cheap (especially compared to the majority), but they require a hub. I got this basically to use with the other pack. It works great…once you get it installed. To the people who have reviewed saying that set up was a piece of cake, that was definitely NOT my experience. I spent two hours just trying to set up the hub. I consider myself somewhat tech savvy and have set up so many other things with little to no issue, but this thing wanted blood, sweat and tears. I tried and tried, but it kept saying it could not find my hub, and then when it finally did, it said it could not connect. I tried resetting. I restarted my modem. I hit google and youtube and the Sengled website. Everything I could find and try, I did…to no avail. I even tried to connect via WPS to only find out it is no longer supported (note: because of this, the button is useless, and hopefully in the future will be removed). I tried via wifi and it kept saying that is doesn’t support 5.0 and needs to be on a 2.4 network…mine is a 2.4, it is enabled, I triple checked. After walking away to regain my composure, I figured I would try again one more time before I boxed it to return. Miraculously, it detected my network and paired quickly. I finally was ready to go. Two hours later. Good thing I am in quarantine and have nothing but time on my hands. Then onto the bulbs. First one paired flawlessly. Second one…not so much. After trying to reset it by flickering the switch 5 to 8 times ( their site has both listed as a possible way to trigger it to pairing mode) multiple times, nothing. Then I realized the issue. Sengled threw out a firmware update in between bulb 1 and 2, so I had to update the hub. After about 10 minutes it was updated and I tried again…and it paired flawlessly. Once they were paired, setting up a group on the Alexa app was done in about a minute. Almost three hours in and I got everything working how it is supposed to. These are BRIGHT. I love it…my husband not so much. I taught him to tell Alexa to turn it down to 10% and even then it is bright enough for me not to complain and him not to grumble. Hoping it is worth the investment, but for now, I am satisfied. I knocked off a star for the fact of the trouble setting up the hub. Otherwise, I would recommend…let there be light!

awesome led smart bulbs
I love these light bulbs I recently installed 6 of’em in my house the other day. The setup was not bad or hard at all and it only took me less than an hour to set up. You have to use the application that comes with the light bulbs but it is less than 100 MB and you also have to set up an account which is free. It comes with the hub network cable USB adapter and 2 light bulbs which is the starter kit. Also just a reminder that these light bulbs only support 2.4 giga Hertz wireless and if you have 5 giga Hertz on your router then light bulbs will not work.I tried to set these up using the app on the phone to automatically search for the light bulbs but I had to manual search the light bulbs using the phone app which is easy all you have to do is scan the QR code. After you do that make sure the power is off unscrew the old light bulb then screw in the new light bulb, after that is done turn the light switch on for 20 seconds turn it back off for another 10 then after that turn it back on it will blink two times. The light bulb show up in the app that it’s ready for use, then you will tell either your Alexa device or Google device to turn on light bulb.Also these bulbs only use less than 1.50 a year depending on how many hours a day you use them. The value for these bulbs at 57 dollars for 4 is very well worth it in the long run and you dont have to worry about going out and getting a new light bulb cause it went out.I give these light bulbs 4.7 out of 5 starsKeep up the good work Sengled

Great, affordable, and work seamlessly with Alexa devices
These bulbs work exactly as you’d expect. Make sure you have an Alexa device nearby that you’ve already set up in the Alexa app and you will have these bulbs set up in under 60 seconds. I have used these for a couple years now and have had no issues. It’s harder to adjust your light schedule in the Alexa app than it is to actually set these up!

UPDATE 6months in: they have reworked the phone app, and it is a much more pleasant experience. For firsts it doesn’t log you out randomly any more, and the design is much nicer!Everything is in a much better configuration and updates for the firmware are quick and smooth. Thoroughly impressed! I just wish you could control the lights remotely, when away from home using the app. At the moment Google home is capable of managing the lighta when in away, I don’t see why this app wouldn’t be able to!UPDATE: I am 2 months in, this has to be the best purchase I’ve ever made for myself. I’ve been able to automate my morning wakeup at 6 am every day to the point where I am up as soon as the lights turn on. On top of that i am able set the lights with google assistant on my phone and never have to get up to adjust the dimmer. This mafe QoL much higher for me, thank you Singled!Easyset up using the app. The installation is extremely simple, plug the power and the data cable into the hub. Install the app from the app store and you’re pretty much done.To initially set them up, you will need to use the app for iOS or Android. After the set up you can control it with alexa, google home, or google assistant right from your phone.Bulbs can be set to turn on/off on schedule(AMAZING feature), and monitor usage. I have mine turn on Monday through Friday automatically at 6AM for work, along side with an alarm clock.It is a really pleasent experience for a much cheaper price than Philips hue or other brands.

These lights are amazing for the price you pay, just as good as any of the more expensive bulbs you can get. They were brighter then the regular bulbs I had in there before.The only issue I had was the initial set up, my WiFi wasnât named right, just had to go rename it to what the set up asked.I used it for the first week using the app alone while waiting for my echo dot to arrive and it worked really well. Never had any issues, was able to turn on schedules and it followed them perfectly. When I got the echo dot, setting them up with that was a breeze. And they work easily with Alexa. Will be getting more of these in the future!
