First of Many Bulbs!
I am absolutely loving the Sengled Smart Light Bulbs with color-changing capabilities! After trying them out in one room, I ended up buying more for the rest of the house because theyâve completely changed how I set the vibe in each space. Whether it’s a soft, cozy glow in the bedroom or a bright, energizing light in the kitchen, these bulbs give me full control over the atmosphere with just a quick command to Alexa. The color options are fantastic tooâI can adjust the lights for movie nights, dinner parties, or even to match the holidays. Itâs been such a fun and functional addition to my home. The setup was simple, and the integration with my smart home system has been seamless. I really appreciate being able to tailor the lighting to each roomâs purpose and mood. Overall, I couldnât be happier with these bulbs. Theyâve made it so easy to change the feel of any room with a tap or voice command, and Iâm excited to keep adding more throughout the house!

Works well, but requires to be close to the Alexa device (Bluetooth only)
I actually got this bulb as part of a bundle. When I finally decided to set it up, it was quite simple, I did in the same room where my echo dot is.Then I moved it to where I intended to use it, which is beyond Bluetooth range from the Echo dot thinking it was like any other “smart” device that connects via Wi-Fi, but not in this case. This light bulb uses Bluetooth only, connects to the Echo dot, and needs to be close. It offers the option of creating a “mesh” of light bulbs, so each one will act as a Bluetooth repeater, so at least one of them needs to be within range of the Echo dot’s Bluetooth. In my case, I do not intend to create such mesh, so I am limited to use it close to the Echo dot, but not where I intend to.I did not see clear indications in the product page that would indicate it would not work with Wi-Fi. (There is mention that the Amazon Device is required, but I thought it would only be to do the initial set up).

Lasted Less Than a Week
Both bulbs connected easily and worked for a few days. Then neither bulb would connect. Alexa said the server was unresponsive. Internet was working great for everything else. Several other devices connected by Bluetooth. It was only these bulbs. I went through all of the processes for resetting: turning off/of 5 times, removing for 15 seconds, deleting device and trying to add device back, etc. Nothing worked.

Fixed? Bulbs won’t reset multiple times
Iâve had a good batch of bulbs. Upgraded to four stars since it took months and multiple returns to get results. The company may have fixed the issue with an update possibly.Iâm not certain if trying bulbs in every room triggered an issue. Other people seem to have success in all rooms.Iâve used bulbs in three rooms without an issue consistently for months. Iâm very happy with the results.Hoping if I add other rooms Iâll have success. This vintage house using contemporary gadgets is a lot of fun. Like, an echo in every room with bulbs that work make carrying things with two hands simple. In the bathroom a low night light is helpful. Switching to red at night a couple hours prior to sleep helps me relax and snooze quicker.Installing a new fixture and hoping the bulb being added will work ð¯.During holidays the sale price is great or for free with an echo. For anyone considering giving these a try or replacing a burnt out bulb./ updateUpdates to replacements have been worked on for two months. Meaning off to UPS several times. The app has an issue with secondary bulbs even if I deleted the original. It shows a bunch of unresponsive bulbs Iâd deleted after attempting to install a single bulb. This time around isn’t as easy as the first time set up because a list of bulbs shows up on the list. This whole thing has been a bit of a time suck.I like the bulbs when they work. When they stop as they have again I’m stuck with whatever the previous setting was. Red, 50%, etc.I think it’s time to retire the bulbs and move on. Super disappointed. I did try with returns on all bulbs (11) and having my doubts only installed a handful to see how they’d work.I’ve tried everything suggested and in the end, this makes me prefer not to use tech. Though they’re great when they work. I’ve had it with the âunresponsiveâ messages and time suck./ updateAll the bulbs stopped working. Again. Even though I had reset several they stopped again. 11 bulbs. They’re less than a month old.Super disappointed. The remote control bulbs never have this issue. I prefer these when they work. But not the frustration that continues.I’ve used the brand site and this didn’t help. The site has a different method than the Alexa option. But it didn’t work at all. The Alexa reset works. But they disconnected again. The night routine is set and once a bulb is reset this way. I left them all on the following evening to see if theyâd all turn down. Nope. Nothing. Before they all stopped and wouldn’t reset I sent to exchange six using boxes I still had.Super sad this happened. No explanation I could find saying why.If the replacements don’t work I’ll return them and try to recoup purchases. Many of the single bulbs came with echo during the Christmas time sales.Because the four-pack was already exchanged Amazon required a full return.Still hopeful the returns will work. If not buying more remote from a different brand to add to what I’ve saved when attempting to replace with these/ updateHere we go again. Every bulb was fine. Then suddenly today. Not. I tried following reset directions. Got a few hooked backups. But the bulbs went down again. It seems to be the Alexa app. Since it said all. But a few worked. Then the reset knees stopped. Then every bulb in the house couldn’t be operated on the Alexa app or in the room.I’ll try again tomorrow. At this point, I’m beginning to miss my remote-controlled bulbs and manual.I’ve been trying these for a few months. Was convinced I should add them to the last four spots so from attic to basement and closets. It’s been so fun because when I’m going room to room or have stuff in both hands or the dog I just have to ask.I have echo dots in all the music rooms. With a house from 1900, there are limits to tech options. I thought it was genius to leverage these that came with echo dots.If this bulb can not be consistent and causes frustration from random shutdowns and even with reset falls back into despair with dysfunction I will end my misery and revert to the remote control. They’re fun, dependable, and are similar in that they change colors and disco out.Imma leaves this at five stars and down to one if this issue doesn’t change when I’m following directions to reset or help get these working again.I did return five from a one and five-pack for not working but figured it was the crappy shipping. Light bulbs should NOT be mailed in a bag or lost in the box.Hope this helps you with your choices/ updateDespite a couple of defective bulbs, super easy return and swap. Meaning Amazon sends out the bulbs as soon as I initiated the return replace.Drop at ups and they scan the app pic and boom.Owning a house from 1900 means tech is not as simple as requiring.During the sales in December bough echo dots that came with bulbs for every floor, room. Plus a four pack to cover closets. Now, great sound system and bulbs that are 10 w and donât always have to be full blast. At night I dig the red. Each room can have bulbs set dimmer or full beam.Amazon, thanks for the bulb inclusion with the echo and the super simple set up.Recommend when ordering click the option to have it linked to your Amazon account. The other option, with the Alexa app, click the plus sign in the upper corner, light, then this brand. Follow directions. Including if you want the bulb grouped with a room. You can always go back and set up a room group.Use the help option to ask for instructions.Whatâs so cool about the bulbs, in my opinion, is I can be carrying stuff and easily ask for Alexa to turn on the light in said room. No more need for free hand.Renovations to art, dog, deliveries, more. Hands free happy me ðIf you have tech experience, and or can read directions, ask for help these bulbs can be for you.I read somewhere you need the app for the bulb company. Not in my experience. The Alexa app has every company known to a man listed. You just need to Alexa app and patience if you’re new at all this. Cause it can be a bit overwhelming for newbie users.Once you get the hang of things it’s easy peasy. Takes about a minute. Then about another 30 seconds to give the bulb the name, youâll use when talking to Alexa or looking it up on the app. You can operate everything remotely as long as the internet works. When I’m traveling this is an awesome option for making people think I’m at the house.5 star once things got rollingâï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ð¯/ updateNot sure why but the bulb stopped working. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks. Bought it connected to echo dot. Suddenly it stopped. It acts like a regular bulb. Just not echo dot functional any longerâï¸

Couldn’t ask for a better light bulbs
Ease of use as easy but try to reconnect them once they’ve been disconnected it’s kind of hard so make sure you have good internet connection the quality perfect value for money yes wonderful all the way get them the functionality I would say perfect control great depending on how I want to control them cuz I can do mine from the app or I could do mine from my phone or I can do mine from Alexa by the way around if you’re thinking about getting these get them

Best smart bulb I have used
This is the absolute BEST smart bulb I have ever used – INSTANT set up – it notified me it was ready before I had even opened my Alexa app. Almost zero set up – it just simply worked – all I had to do was set up the name and location and it siply WORKS – SO happy with this bulb – it was the second one I tried – the first one wanted me to download an app and go through a million steps – GET THIS BULB!!!

Awesome Bulbs
These bulbs get put in all the lamps in our house. Itâs so convenient to control them using an Alexa device. The colors and brightness are all adjustable and you can even set it up to turn on at sunset. The only drawback is if the power flickers, or goes off, the bulbs will turn back on when it comes back on. Itâs not a huge deal but in terms of premature wear they could be on for a while if youâre not home and donât know they turned on.

Does not work with Kids Echo Dot
The bulb is not super bright which is nice for a lamp in a room. However, I bought this for my daughter and she is not able to use her Kids Echo Dot for turning it on and off. It was very disappointing. I was able to re-gift it so a friend that has the original Alexa so it worked out. I would have just liked a warning that it does not work with the Kids Echo Dot.

If you plan on getting it with an Alexa echo dot bundle, go for it but consider the points below before getting one. I got it for super cheap with the bundle deal so I think it i worth it for what I paid but you can chooseCons:The one thing that I felt was a little lacking was it was not the brightest light but it was bright enough for a small room but anything more it was a little lacking.Pros:1. Has great color options and the dim light options is ideal to have in the bedroom for night time.2. Can connect to any wifi an echo dot is connected to I used this in combination with my echo dot 4 and I was worried initially that this will not work since the wifi I was using needed to have login done or products must be added using their mac address for the smart light I had to do nothing since it linked with my Alexa device and was ready tog o instantly.3.Setup was incredibly easy and was done in less than a minute.

I bought a new Echo dot and this came with at no additional cost.Amazed at the negative feedback, to the point where I thought for sure this would be a dud, but Iâve had zero issue with it.First off, it is Bluetooth so it needs to be the right distance from your echo device (Iâm using an echo show 8 and itâs about 10ft away). Also, assuming this is plugged into a lamp or light fixture of some sort, that thing must have constant power. If you switch the power source off, Alexa wonât be able to communicate with it. Even if you turn of the power, it will take a few seconds to properly connect so power should be left on at all times to it.Second, if using exclusively through Echo your colour selections are limited, but Iâve had no issues selecting from those colours or changing brightness through Alexa.Connecting to the bulb was extremely easy, again, assuming you are following normal Bluetooth rules like not being to close or too far from the controlling device.I didnât bother with the app and use exclusively through either my echo show or via Alexa app.Using as noted above, I get instantaneous response controlling the bulb and have had zero issues.

Si se conecta automáticamente con Alexa. Aunque para cambia la intensidad y color de luz yo solo puedo hacerlo por la app. El encendido y apagado funcionan muy bien por comando de voz.
