UpdateSengled responded fairly quickly after 2 emails to replace the 1 out of 4 bulbs that were defective. I was mailed 2 bulbs and the one I used to replace the bad one worked effortlessly and has worked great. I changed my review to 5 stars. I would definitely recommend these bulbs over others due to their excellent customer service.I love this product and ease of use but unfortunately with the 4 pack I ordered 1 bulb came dead on arrival. Not okay. Worked maybe for a few days. So there is no brightness, alexa integration, and obviously can’t be installed. The bulb does not connect to wifi like the other 3 do flawlessly. Tried to set it up multiple times, in the same light socket that other bulbs work in.Seglend does not respond to email and their phone support is shutdown.Find another product from another manufacturer and you will not be as disappointed as I was.

Software interface is better than most. Wi-Fi connection drops if bulb not close to router.
I have a cupola over my detached garage with a light I was trying to colorize via smart bulb. The wireless signal looks strong on my phone and the bulb setup worked fine at that distance from the router, but after a couple of days, the bulb disconnected from the router and would not reconnect without me resetting the bulb via the manual wall switch in the garage (flick it on and off 5 times to get it to reset). After a few days of this, I tried a different bulb from the same package, but I had the same issue. So I gave up and went with a timer wall switch and a Hue’s bulb that retains its color setting after power is disconnected by the timer wall switch. (Sengled bulb will lose its color setting if power is lost.) I do like the Sengled software interface, though, and the bulbs are nice and bright and the colors work great; thus, the 4 stars.

USELESS PRODUCT/BRAND AS A SMART LIGHT
These bulbs are fine if for some reason you’re paying a premium for smart bulbs but only using them as regular lights you turn on/off manually. Otherwise, they are TOTALLY USELESS as a smart light. The lights only stay online for about an hour or two, and then they disconnect and become unresponsive, requiring you to manually turn them off and then back on to reconnect them for another 1-2 hours. That being the case, there is no way you can possibly make practical use of them as smart lights. I will be returning this and buying a different brand (probably Amazon Basics smart bulbs since I’d imagine they were best designed with Echo connectivity in mind).I would avoid Sengled as a brand altogether, because it seems this problem isn’t just isolated to this product. A month earlier, I got a free color-changing Sengled smart lightbulb with my Echo Pop purchase, and that lightbulb has basically the same problem, except that it will go for much longer before disconnecting and needing to be reset (usually 1-2 days). I bought these lights because I thought the problem would’ve probably only been with that one bulb, and I liked it for its relatively easy setup/connectivity otherwise, so I decided to give Sengled another chance and bought these bulbs, only to regret it. Whatever the issue is, it seems to probably affect all of their WiFi Smart Lightbulbs. I can’t speak to the Bluetooth ones, but I’d imagine they work better since BT isn’t normally connected 24/7 anyway. But BT does not give you the degree of control WiFi offers with your smart home, so I don’t normally buy those.

Update: App will again control bulbs
I have tried resetting the bulbs, successfully, reinstalling the app. Despite re-connecting to the bulbs, the app says that it has lost connection. 8 bulbs dead. Help number wants to sell me medicare?!?!?!Update: Email support actually fixed the problem and the bulbs are back on line! Actual tech help.

I like this brand of smart bulb. Easy to set up with Alexa. Simply had to download the Sengle App.

Bright and stays connected far better than other brands I’ve tried. Use in landscape lights around a pool, still work when temps dip way below zero I always worry about one bulb dying and not being able to replace it because brand is gone/out of business, but this brand is also available a big box chain stores, so seems it will be around for a while and is replacable.

Brightness was like 60W bulb i.e. 800 lumens.We ordered this 100W bulb for 25$ extra than 60W.Disappointed with brightness other than that it’s a good bulb..
