Work great with app
These were great with the app, there is a slight Delay 3-5 sec From when you choose your color to win the light responds or to when you turn it on or off and the light responds But otherwise, I enjoy them greatly, and like that I can have a nice soft light in my living room or turn them up to blinding white light lol for when I want to do a puzzle.

These last!
These Sengled bulbs are awesome! Setting up was a breeze, and now I can control them all with my voice using Alexa. The colors are vibrant and the white light is bright enough for everyday use. I love being able to set the mood with different colors depending on the occasion. The only downside is that they can sometimes be a little slow to respond to voice commands. Overall, I’m very happy with these smart bulbs.

A colorful delight
These lights are a breeze to install right out of the box with straightforward directions. They change colors – red, green, blue, purple, white, you name itâand you can even dim them. They pair seamlessly with Alexa Show and Dot devices, so I can command them to turn on, off, change colors, and dim just by speaking, or set them to follow my schedule automatically. However, there were a few times the lights decided to go rogue and disconnect from Alexa, leaving me powerless until I reinstalled them. It’s annoying, but aside from that, they’re perfect for brightening up my life!

Great price, great value, works great.
The pack brings 4 each and they work as expected. The app is user friendly and works great with alexa.

For a while!
I loved it at first, and after a while it started to malfunction. The brightness was adjusted via phone and there wasnât a noise level.

It’s hard to make the worst product on the market, but Sengled accomplished it.
I got these bulbs about a year ago. At the time, they worked pretty well. Pairing to the app was a bit of a pain, but after that, they did what I expected – light levels and colors were simple enough to control from Alexa or the app itself, routines worked, it was good. But then, weird things started happening. It was small things at first – bulbs not firing routines like they should, but still responded to manual changes. App reporting “no internet” on my phone, when I clearly had it. Annoyances sure, but nothing that made them unusable. Over time, some of them were starting to randomly flash off and on, without any apparent pattern or cause. This flashing was often reported by other people, but no apparent fix ever came. Then, some update released a little while before this review, and the most miraculous thing happened! All of my Sengled bulbs – every single one, without fail or exception – stopped working. All of them. Bedrooms, offices, living room, every bulb to the last was now mysteriously and permanently unreachable by the app.I figured at first that it surely had to just be the app itself, since Alexa would be able to change them. But, Alexa doesn’t see them either anymore. While they turn on (insofar as I switch on the light and they come on that way), they now apparently lost the ability to communicate with anything, making them essentially useless next to a conventional bulb. One might think it was a networking issue, but extensive testing of the wifi clearly showed it working as expected, with every other device in the house able to reach it without issue. In spite of that, I went through the steps to check the bulbs were paired (they were, at first), that they could do their reset routine, every single step suggested by the manufacturer, and a number of steps that weren’t but make sense if you’re into networking at all.The only thing I can figure is their most recent firmware update must’ve fried something. There’s a sentence I never thought I’d write in my life – “my lightbulb got busted by a firmware update” – but here we are.So now I have a pile of bulbs that don’t work. That wouldn’t be enough to merit a review on the topic, except it’s clear that the manufacturer seems to give no regard to it, if their app reviews are any indication. Just one canned response after another with zero help. Quite a few people in a similar situation. If you’d asked me 6-8 months ago if these were a good deal, I’d say yes. Right now, I’d suggest you avoid them as hard as you can, unless you want to set up a bulb that will instantly destroy itself the minute it updates its firmware. There are tons of other options here on Amazon, and many of them don’t have random failures or hardware setup pains like these seem to.Do yourself a favor. Avoid Sengled. Put them down, don’t look back, and get something that actually works.

Really want to like these more but the set up was a real hassle
I’m not an IT person but I do follow directions well. These bulbs were a HUGE hassle to set up. Took three days of messing with to get all 4 connected to the internet. Did the same thing over and over, tried going out into the yard to make sure wasn’t accidently connected to 5g connection…nope, nope, nope, got one connected, nope on the others. Set up is very straight forward but it wont tell you why if failed each time. Not sure I would purchase more to add to the house or not because of set up.The software is easy to use after they’re set up. My old lights these replaced had similar software and were easier to set up. I like the scheduled lights on and off time and the fact I can change the settings from the office or vacation if needed. Works with my Alexa and google home app.

A product that actually works
These light bulbs install easily. You can then download the Sengled Home app to control them. The colors and brightness are highly configurable. The app is easy to use and mostly intuitive. My wife has been having fun with it, setting the bulbs to holiday colors on a schedule that coincides with sunset/sunrise (yes, it can do this). Come 4th of july, they will be red/white/blue. Come halloween, they will be orange. Pastels during easter. You get the idea.My only beef is this: I first set a sunrise/sunset schedule for our outdoor patio lights. I then set the colors to something other than straight white. When sunset came, the lights came on, but they were white. I think what you have to do is set the light colors first, then set the schedule. Unfortunately, I think this means that if you want to change the color, but keep the schedule, you have to change the color and then drop and recreate the schedule. Which isn’t a huge deal. Takes about 30 seconds to do.Overall a great product. We will be getting more.

These bulbs are a lovely addition to my home. They integrate very easily with Alexa.I am especially pleased with dimming and colour capabilities.Sometimes, I just use blue instead of dimming; it adds a mystical mood to the room.I use a bulb in the bedroom, so I can tuck myself into bed and simply say, Alexa, Night Light Off.”This use of the bulb with Alexa really adds a safety element when turning off lights for the night. This bulb offers a lot of convenience to a home. I highly recommend it.

I installed these in my garage because the lighting was very poor there. I took a ladder, screwed these in, and pressed the light switch on. It lights up for a few seconds, then fades out – I assume to signal to me that motion detection mode is activated. When you walk near it (decent detection range, my garage is quite tall) it lights up and often times it activates the second one as well (a few meters away). I timed it with my phone and it stays lit for 90 seconds, just as advertised. After the time passes with no motion, it fades out gradually – a very neat feature that I was happy to see.If you want the light to be on for more than 90 seconds without motion, just quickly turn the switch off and then back on. For motion detection, keep your light switch on and leave it.
