HOT!!!
This mattress pad is HOT! I can barely tolerate level 1! (For reference, I like to be warm and usually use a setting of 5.) We put a mattress pad on top of this mattress pad so that it would not be too hot even on the lowest setting.It fits nicely on a thick mattress and is comfortable. Seems well made.

Pretty good, as others said, controller cord is way too short
After having gone through several heated blankets over the years, I decided to give a mattress pad a try instead. I like how this heats up quickly and is very hot, I like that the controller light is bright but only remains on for maybe 20 seconds, I like that it has a timer that can last through the entire night if you choose. We’ll see if it lasts longer than my heated blankets have. As others mentioned, the controller plug is located at your feet, and the cord will not reach to the top of the bed. I almost always have to get out and adjust the heat level in the night or turn it off, and having to get out of bed to do so is so annoying. Any heat blanket I had, I could always have the controller sitting on my night stand, and it plugged in at the feet too.

I love my Serta Waterproof Heated Mattress Pad. After trying several heated/electric blankets and having to return them because they put out such low heat or did not work at all I decided to try a heated mattress pad and it works so much better. I wish I would have tied one sooner.

Only worked for a few weeks
I bought this back in the summer after lots of research it seemed like a good buy, others said it got hot enough to soothe muscles and was comfy to lay on. When it arrived we tested it for a few days and it worked wonderfully, but wasnât needed till it colder.So I took it off and put it away till winter, put it back on my bed last week and it was nice and hot. But over the next days it didnât work as well, the feet on one side quit heating and now just days later one side doesnât work at all. I tried switching the plug ins, checking cords, all the troubleshooting stuff but nothing. Itâs supposed to have a 5 year warranty but since I planned for winter and I ordered it ahead, I canât get anybody to contact me back to request a replacement! Donât spend ur hard earned money on two weeks of heat!!

I was searching for a high end matress protector (protect from liquids, etc) but also wanted a full bed heating pad. After reading about how some matress protectors conflict with full bed heating pads I thought this would be perfect. And it is. Top quality matress protector with a full bed heating pad built in. Easy to use controller with long cords (to the outlet and the wired controller to the matress protector). Couldn’t be better. When I ordered I noticed a few reviews that had issues with warranty but based on my experience so far as long as you take care of it and follow the washing instructions etc I don’t forsee any issues. And yes, it’s even machine washable. Not the cheapest product on the market but honestly it’s the best and worth spending the $$$ for a more comfortable sleep.

Controller defaults to off when power disconnected. I previously had a Beautyrest blanket that defaulted to on. This allowed connection to a timer to set to preheat the bed. Now I have to remember to turn the blanket on well before I want to go to bed. I only use this to preheat the bed and turn it off as soon as I get in. Would also prefer if the heat went closer to the ends to warm foot area.
