How to connect the C100+ action camera?
Step 1: Long press the power button to turn on the camera. The power button displays a blue light.Step 2: Double-click the power button to turn on the camera WiFi, and the power button will show a green light flashing.Step 3: Enable the phone WiFi and connect to WiFi name: C100+_GCc43cb0396b9b (password 12345678)Step 4: Turn on the SJCAM Zone APP and click to connect to the camera.Step 5: Enter the camera display and settings page. Select function settings and modes.
If no card is inserted or the card error, the red light flashes quickly, and the device will vibrate every two seconds. 10 mins later, the device will shut down auto. Please format the memory card before using it.
Troubleshooting:
Full Storage Card: When the card is full, the camera shakes one time. After the blue light flashes quickly for 10 seconds, the camera will automatically shut down.No Card or Card Error: If no card is inserted or card error, the red light flashes quickly, the device will vibrate every two seconds, and 10 mins later, the device will shut down auto.How to charge and insert the SD card? – There is a silicon pad at the bottom of the camera, and beside it, there is a notch where you can lift the silicone pad using your fingernail.Won’t stay connected to phone APP: I suggest that you turn off the cellular data on your phone, and then connect to the camera via WiFi. Exceeded my expectations! âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸
First off, this thing is NOT made to produce the highest quality footage. It is made to be extremely light while producing the best footage possible in a great price point, and at that it exceeds!I use it on my drone because it is extremely light even in comparison to other drone action cameras, and at this price point I can afford to damage or lose one. I recorded my video clip above on 1080p 60fps using the image stabilizer and it did GREAT! No skips, and No jelly footage. I used it in high lighting and that seems to produce the best results. I was able to fly 4 batteries total and collected over 45 minutes of footage, then connected to the camera and downloaded all the footage before it finally needed to be charged. Charge time for me is about 1 hour, with about 2 hours of use per charge.I have other cameras for cinematic footage, but for a quick, convenient, reliable and affordable experience this is my new Go To. I will update if anything terrible or unexpected happens but as of now.. SO WORTH IT.

Great minus the battery life.
The camera is great for small trips. I use it as a safety measure on my motorcycle. Only complaint is the battery life. It will only last 30 minutes tops. I’ve researched settings changes to try to help the battery life but it didnât help much.

Crappy Quality. Broke and lost all videos
At first I thought it was good and just the battery is very short and that a little confusing with the one button… with the waterproof case on you can’t see the LED indicator at all, which makes it nearly impossible to know if it is recording when the case is on.Then the camera completly broke on me. The SD card heats up to get super hot and became unreadable, hence losing all my videos. Now the camera can’t register when the card is inside it or not.I emailed the customer support but then they ghosted me. No refund, no replacement, nothing.

This thing works great as a rearview camera for bikes–but there are better options by SJCAM
I’m going to review this as a person who uses it specifically as a rearview camera for a bike. It definitely is versatile for other applications (helmet cam, etc), but I can’t speak to those.The GOOD:-The most affordable WIRELESS camera system for bikers-Pretty small! It is less than the height of a chapstick tube, and not even an inch thick-The camera quality is pretty good, especially for the cost/size-LOTS of additional materials for different kinds of mounts, including click-on mounts, sticker mounts, and different housing options-They give you everything you need- even a micro SD card!The FINE:-The camera is not actually waterproof or water resistant, but you can use a waterproof housing (included), which I did. This unit is actually a bit of a chore to get the camera into and out of consistently, which becomes a bit of a negative when you get to the battery time-It does not do image stabilization particularly well. In fact, I wouldn’t say it did it at all.-The app is decent, but nothing remarkable. You also have to set up a dedicated WIFI signal each time you turn on the unit to have it connect to your phone. Thus, if you’re leaving from home you’ll probably have to disconnect from your existing internet to have it catch this WIFI connectionThe BAD:-The battery gives me about an hour of use on one charge, even if I’m just using it as a view screen and not recording.-There is no good way to get it to connect to a bike without modifying the unit. Sure, you could use zip ties or trust the adhesive, but I can guarantee you that the former is ugly and the latter is absolutely going to fall off. I chose to literally screw it into my bike fender and bolt it on, but I’m sure that a good epoxy would also be an option.-There is just one button and no screen. This means that, in the housing, it is very difficult to tell it to turn on, turn off, turn on WIFI, etc. just through pressing that one button a few times. Apparently I recorded hours of black room more than once just because it didn’t actually turn off when I tried.In all, I ended up bolting it directly on to my bike tire guard (literally drilling through one of the mounting bases to do it), but that worked great for me. It stayed exactly where it should, and there really wasn’t much “shake” from that application. Definitely ended up picking up mostly tire noises, but the picture was fairly good quality throughout.The worst part of this unit was the battery life. An hour of use on a full charge is just not enough for the amount of trouble it is to get into the waterproof casing. In fact, for this exact same use I ended up buying the SJ300 and it works much, much better (and comes with an extra battery) for this purpose for just a few dollars more.I thought that this was a good solution as a rear camera, and indeed it is! But there are still some silly hoops you have to jump through for these budget solutions. I would LOVE a version that uses bluetooth signals instead of dedicated WIFI, so that I don’t have to disconnect from my home WIFI to use it. The picture quality is good enough, and I thought it did remarkably well for night rides.In all, this is an above-average product for use on a bike. I ended up using an old iPhone as a dedicated screen mounted to the bike (and not having it auto-connect to any other WIFI signals). I would still use it today if they didn’t have an entirely better solution in the SJ300.

Very nice micro video camera!
Ok, make sure you charge it before trying anything. Download the App to the connect to the camera. Boom. Pretty easy to set up! Quick storyâ¦I just changed out the cabin filter in my Tahoe and once I put everything back together and turned the A/C on it sounded like a helicopter. I took it all back apart but I couldnât see below the filter housing. I used this camera to take live video and I saw some debris down there. The video is super clear! I got it out with a vacuum and it fixed the problem! Iâm headed to the beach in 2 days and I canât wait to take this in the ocean! This is easy to use and it really works!

kauft zweimal.Leider ist das Ding nur zum Spaà zu gebrauchen. Die Qualität der Bilder und Videos geht so, aber leider fehlen einige Dinge für mich, die einfach umzusetzen wären.Z.B. gehen Bilder nur, wenn man die Kamera in der App gekoppelt hat. Fern vom Handy geht nur Video.Das ist zu wenig. Wer was für Katz und Hund sucht und keine Angst davor haben will, dass sie weg ist, dann passt sie.

Great little camera. Good quality and I love the size. But the phone app you need to view videos and adjust the camera settings is absolutely RUBBISH! I’m trying to find a different app to use but camera appears to be locked to manufacturers app only. As a temporary measure, I’ve purchased an OTG cable to connect the camera directly to my phone so I can at the very least view and delete videos. Not ideal but I’m sure i will cope.
