Only one flaw…
I really like that this case has all of the correct shaped cutouts in the foam and all I have to do is set the drone and peripherals in it and head out.I will warn you that the bottom layer of foam feels like it does not provide enough space for items like the batteries and especially the controller. The foam does give way as you press the controller and batteries into place. Also, the controller compartment allows for you to keep the thumb stick in place while storing the controller.The case comes with wire loops like what you’d find on a keychain that are for attaching the shoulder strap.The only flaw with the case is that it does not have an atmospheric equalization valve. It’s been cold out and when the case was delivered, and I all but had to pry it open with a screwdriver to get it open. I’m hoping that this doesn’t happen in the future, and it’s an easy fix that should have been made in the design/production stages of the case.I emailed the manufacturer and suggested this addition to them. I heard back from them in less than 24 hours and they understand the issue and are considering adding the valve to future models.I absolutely recommend this case.

Good case for every day use
Overall I like this case. I wanted something that was a bit larger than the case my DJI drone came with, so that it would be easier to pack and unpack. This achieved that goal very well. The only complaint I really have is it doesn’t have a pressure relief valve like air-tight hard cases do, and you can see in the photos where the case has distorted after air travel causing pressure differences.Overall though, its a good value for the money.

Good container, overpriced for what you get…
I’m a little conflicted about the quality of this container. The case itself is robust and built to withstand a lot of abuse. The form-cut foam insert inside is good, however the foam in the lid is common open cell egg-crate foam that is no where near as firm as the insert. Any drops on the lid will likely result in damage, negating the extremely well construction of the shell. The engineering overall is a little unusual, having extremely tiny holes to insert small loops in so you can use the included shoulder strap. It also has no means of locking the container. A simple tab is all it would need and cost nothing in manufacturing. As it is there is nothing stopping someone from rummaging through it. It also lacks a [ð¯ð¦ð¤ð¦ð´ð´ð¢ð³ðº] pressure release valve like other cases of this type. My case has at some point went through a large pressure change and the lid was deformed and sucked in tight and unable to be opened by hand. After prying it and letting some air pressure in it opened freely and the door sprung back in shape. It now works properly. If you travel, especially by air, ensure you bring a tool to pry it open. There is no way I would have been able to open it without it. It is a good case. I would be willing to pay the retail price if it worked like other well engineered cases, but this is not that.

Good protection at competitive price, but has limitations
Hard case is an overkill for day-to-day carrying and use of the Mini 4k, as a sub-$15 EVA foam case will do just fine protecting the drone if just going from home to car and that kind of use scenario. Hard case works better in limited situations where the case may be crushed, such as inside a checked luggage that gets tossed around by baggage handlers.So if you plan to take your Mini 4k on a plane, this hard case is the answer, it is roomy enough to accommodate all the Fly More accessories, but be forewarned that the fit is very tight.My complaint about this case is that it is not designed for aftermarket add-ons and doodads. I had difficulty to fit my RC controller with a hooded protector, with a little force, the foam gave in just enough to make it fit, but I have to push the lid to close the case now. This case also cannot accommodate clip on landing gears, folding landing pad, and definitely not the propeller guards, which is a shame, because that means a second bag will be needed for travel.At $29, this case is competitively priced compared to other competing cases on Amazon, which makes this a solid product if all you have is the Fly More package and no additional accessories.
