Absolutely Amazing!
I have tried several smart bulbs trying to find some bright enough for my very old standard lighting. I was specifically looking for just one for my bedroom, so I tested one there. Not only was it incredibly bright, I couldn’t believe all the presets that were available.I quickly went and installed all four bulbs into my livingroom ceiling fan, which is my only light source for that room. It was incredibly easy to install the app and activate the lights. The included remote also worked immediately.I wasn’t expecting much from this unknown brand, but honestly, I think this is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.First of all, the included app has SO MANY cool presets to choose from. There are some for all four bulbs, and some for individual bulbs. I particularly like ‘Aurora’ which makes them a steady blue, green, purple, and teal. My second favorite preset is the ‘Candles’ setting which dims them to a candlelight and flickers them. It’s. So. Cool.The biggest advantage here though has been the remote. I have an old cluttered home and my livingroom tends to be not only for TV but for lounging, napping, and crafting. If I’m going to craft, I can hit bright white on the remote and then I can increase or decrease the brightness without getting out my phone. The brightest setting is so bright that I can comfortably draw, scrapbook, make charms etc. If I lay down and don’t want the bright white lights in my face, I can dim them to a comfortable level.I only use Alexa, but they seem to work OK with that. However, I have the fan plugged into a smart outlet, so I use Alexa to turn that on, then use the remote or the app to adjust the lights. May not be the intended use, but it works great for me.I am seriously overjoyed with these bulbs. The price is ridiculously good for the quality and the manufacturers clearly put a lot of thought into the app. They blow my Kasa/Tapo bulbs out of the water. So wonderful. You won’t be disappointed.

Works great independently or w/Alexa, great price-point!
These work perfectly. The app did not require extensive set-up and was easy to figure out. These are my first Smart home device, other than Alexa.I discovered that the 4 bulbs show up on the app with their own name “blub4ef5” or whatever (not a typo on my part, I think they meant ‘bulb’). I renamed each bulb according to location. Two are main lights in the ceiling fan in my master bedroom (“Main 1” and “Main 2”) and then on either side of my bed (“My Bedside” and “Guest Bedside”). They’re easy to adjust. I quickly figured out how to set my own scenes. A few tips:1) Do some Google searches, and quick screenshots for the images of the lighting setups you’ll want to keep. They have a few, but I’m extremely visually oriented, and I wanted my own. It was easy to select the screenshot for the image and use accordingly.2) Do a long-press on a scene to edit it. You can edit their pre-made ones, or make your own. I made a few, including having only one overhead bulb on at 10% called “nightlight”, etc. My favorite, and the main reason I purchased these, is for my wakeup routine.I’ve been wanting a sunrise alarm clock for several years. Unfortunately, the ones I’ve tried are just not right. (I feel like the princess and the pea!) I can’t stand the brightness of most clock faces, or any lights in my bedroom while sleeping. However, I often wake and need to see the time on a clock, so that I’m not forced to check the time on my phone. Then, many sunset alarm clocks have a really long “sunrise”. It was orcing me to wake up like 20 minutes before my alarm! Yet, setting my alarm forward 20 minutes could very well result in a bad/late morning. And, with my long COVID, I really need to protect my sleep. I seriously only need like a 2-minute graduation of lighting, which these handle very nicely (5 second, to many minutes increments are available).I’ve now set up Alexa to start a special light scene just for my wakeup, with a 2 minute graduation on only my bedside lamps. Then, she wakes me up nicely. She tells me some good news, turns the lights up all the way, and plays some music. It was terrific this morning!I had to set up several routines for Alexa to turn on and off my lights, and several specific lighting scenes, but it’s all done. I’m happy. No more getting up mid-virtual meeting to turn on lights in these darker months. No more annoyingness in turning my “guest side” lamps on/off across the king-sized bed. If I was out of town, super easy to create the illusion I’m home.Because my office is in my master bedroom, I’m going to experiment with timed lighting setups to go with my pomodoro sessions, with the hope of visual reminders that I’m supposed to be focusing. ( ð Mega-spaz, here).The app could use a few tweaks to functionality, like copying a scene, to perform minor changes and re-name. But seriously, for the price, these are terrific. Longevity has not been tested yet. ð¤

Acceptable for the price
I bought 5 sets of the Vanance Smart Bulbs, 2 with remotes and 3 without. Of the 20 bulbs, 1 was received DOA and would not work at all. The other 19 work as advertised, mostly. The bulbs work well with the remote and all of them respond to the remotes. The bulbs are relatively easy to set up in the Surplife app and get connected to Alexa. The problem that I have seen is that they frequently stop responding/disconnect from the network and require that the power be manually cycled to reconnect them. When they are responding, they work very well with Alexa and the app.I have seen other reviews that mention them forgetting the network settings and requiring a full reset. I have not experienced this particular issue, but they do frequently lose connection. I do not know if this is hardware related or software related, but the company should certainly look into the issue.Overall, for the price, these bulbs work fairly well and are compatible with Alexa. I would recommend these as a budget bulb for someone entering the Smart environment. They do not perform nearly as well as their more costly counterparts, but you almost always get what you pay for.

Fáciles de sincronizar con su aplicación y luego de incorporan a Alexa. Aunque la recomendación es no apagarlas por el interruptor porque en algunas ocasiones se desconfiguran. La función de la aplicación para que lleven el ritmo de la música si funciona 😀
