Awesome, efficient, and simple. Step by Step Guide.
These lights are great. They are energy efficient. They can be controlled via the smart life app or alexa or Google home. They are easy to set up. Confirm your phone/tablet is connected to a 2.4hz wifi network. 1. Install the Smart Life app from the app store and open it. 2. Click the plus button in the top right. 3. Click the Add Manually section at the top (It should already be the default). 4. Click the word “Lighting” on the far left. 5. Click The light bulb that says “Lighting” (Wifi). 6. Install the light. 7. Turn the light On-Off-On-Off-On. 8. Wait ten seconds or so and they will start blinking. 9. Click the large button that says “Confirm your light in blinking rapidly.” You’re done. The light will be “found,” “connected,” and “initialize” automatically. Simply give your light a unique name. (Lets say you have multiple lights in one fixture and you’ve named each light, “Kitchen Light.” You can group them together in the Alexa app, which I’ll explain later.) You can now control your lights from the smart life app.-Keep your lights on.- If you have the Alexa app set up already and “smart life” skill enabled, Alexa will automatically recognize your new lights and you will be able to voice control them by name. -Keep your lights on- If you do not have the Alexa app set up yet you will need to complete a couple simple steps. To get your lights to work with Alexa you will need to enable the “Smart Life” skill in your Alexa app. 1. SMART bulbs that connect directly to Alexa – no hub required!
I placed these SMART bulbs in my ceiling fan in my bedroom. As this was the only light source in my bedroom, I was looking for something that I could change the brightness levels and control without leaving my bed. I did have a slightly difficult time initially with the set-up, but this is something I was willing to work though because of the excellent price point. After successfully pairing the lights and grouping them together, I am able to control the brightness, color, “warmth” level of all 3 lights at once both through my iPhone app as well as through the Alexa app/device that I also have in my bedroom. It has been fun to see how many different colors I can get Alexa to change the bulbs to – and I am sure there are some that I haven’t come across yet. Replacing these light bulbs in my ceiling fan was much easier than installing a dimmer switch for the lights that I had previously, and as an added bonus, they are now voice activated and can change colors! As long as you are willing to carefully read the directions, and also have a little “tech” savvyness, you will have no issues getting these lights to work just as you would like. Great product for a great value!

These lights are fantastic â easy to install and fun to use
This is my first experience with fully customizable light bulbs, and I was a bit skeptical on how useful they would be. However, once I installed one and set it up, I was blown away. I can fully adjust the coolness level, brightness level and actual color of the light using a full color pallet. Great! Installation was a breeze if you are used to doing a little interpretation of the typical instructions. The Smart Home app picked it up right away and within a few minutes, Alexa had control. I installed one in my wifeâs reading lamp and she loves it. Best thing, I can turn the light off when she gets up and leaves it on! I have messed with the color only for testing purposes and it works great and is actually pretty cool, one of those things you will make yourself find a use for. So, easy to install, incredibly tunable, integrates easily with Alexia and sells for a very fair price. An absolutely great value from a good company. They are quick to respond to questions and comments (I left them a message telling them how much I enjoyed their product) ad heard back immediately. One of the best things is the brains are in the bulb, ot in an external switch.

Ya habÃa comprado de los focos Evolux, y son de la misma calidad, tan sólo lo malo y por lo que no le doy la 5a estrella, es que no llegan vinculados a tu cuenta de Amazon, por lo que tienes que bajar una App, y seguir varios pasos que sà bien no son complejos para la mayorÃa, para mà si fue inconveniente porque los pedà como regalo para mi señora madre, quién no está acostumbrada a la tecnologÃa y fue muy complicado instruirla a distancia para que pudiera hacer funcionar sus focos; al final sà lo logro, pero en comparación con la otra marca, sà es una gran ventaja que ya lleguen configurados
