Love it except forâ¦
This is everything I had hoped for. The app it comes with is amazing. The quality is so much better than with my standard video app on my iPhone. The gimbal itself is amazing. Except for it gets like stuck almost. It doesnât do the best job of staying straight and will start beeping at me in the middle of my video. I have tried it every possible way but idk what Iâm doing wrong. Gonna continue trying before returning to see if itâs user error, or product issue. Iâm loving the quality though. It feels expensive and itâs really cool to use. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that it extends. Itâs perfect for daily vlogging.

Super Selfie Stick on Steroids
LIKED:* The whole Gimbal Stabilizer comes across as really well made. Parts move smoothly, everything fits well. It looks and feels like a quality device. I think it’s worth the price, too.* There’s a big sticker on the side of the arm with a QR code to help you download the right app for it.* That sticker also has a quick reference guide regarding all the button and wheel functions – very helpful!* It comes with an excellent tripod with fold-up, anti-slip feet that are move very smooth and are stable.* It works with or without the tripod attached – making it lighter if you don’t need it.* The excellent phone app works really well and even provides more options than my iPhone 15 Pro Max* There’s an LED display that clearly shows your selections.* It’s not overly heavy, even with the tripod attached.* It can be extended almost 8 inches through the built-in extension rod.* They have produced a LOT of content to help learn how to use it. The Amazon video is the BEST.* The gimbal really does help created smoother video and level photos, among many other things.* It’s easier and more robust to use through the app, which offers many more options, but basic use through the phone photo app works, too.* the device has a little texture to help prevent it slipping out of your hand.* Overall, this device was easier to learn and use than I had anticipated! After playing with it for about 2 hours I felt I really had it down.* There is an option in the app setting to display a level line on the phone’s screen , which is really helpful.* I thought the documentation that came with it as well as that in the app was helpful.BE AWARE THAT:* The phone can be set vertically or horizontally, plus turned left or right without the app, plus you can shoot a photo.* I was able to attach my iPhone 15 Pro Max with the simple case on it, but it barely gripped it. The “handles” open plenty wide, but could be just a tad deeper. Holding the phone without it’s case would be no problem.* The side dial (zoom and focus functions) does not work without the app.* The app doesn’t work unless you select most of the permission options – especially access to photos.* I was hoping the panorama function in the app would produce a panorama like my phone does, but it’s not nearly as wide. I tried using it to move my phone while using the phone’s panorama feature, but it didn’t work – I think it moved the phone too quickly and more in a circular manner rather than a level left-to right movement. It would likely work just using the gimbal, though, and just moving it manually.* You access the photo features of the app through the camera icon at the bottom of the screen.* The fold-out instruction sheet is easy to follow and pretty well written. My only complaint is that the explanations are in a lighter gray font, making them much harder to read. How about a darker color? The fine yellow lines on the button description “page” are also very difficult to see unless you are under really bright light.I thought I’d like this device, but am really impressed with it’s design and engineering. It does far more than I expected, even after watching the online video before getting it.OTHER COMMENTS:I did not test or use the hand signals, face or body recognition features yet, but would expect them to work just fine.

Instantly provided a huge boost in quality for my video content
This is my first time using a Gimabl Stabilizer and I have been blown away by what this product can do. The image stabilization, shot angles, and built-in effects are amazing. The quality of my video content jumped immediately when I started using this product. The learning curve was a little steep for me, and I am still learning everything this product does, but I enjoy it more and more each time I use it. The video on the product page is a good starter vid to see how to get setup and going the first time you use your Smart X2. I love some of the built-in features, including the “Hitchcock” shot, which allows you to set up an automatic zoom in or zoom out for a specific amount of time. Or the panoramic shot which will shoot a shot approx 220 degrees around automatically. The controls are intuitive and pretty easy to use. Movements are smooth but sometimes can be a little quick. The zoom and focus wheel only work when you are using the AOCHUAN app but that is fine with me because the app has provided some great vids so far. You can take pics and start/stop vids remotely in the native iOS photos app but the zoom and focus control knob only work within the aochuan app.The object tracking and hand signal recognition are both very impressive features. I was blown away by how much this can do. It will track you while walking around a room and you can control things like start/stop and changing from portrait mode to vertical mode with different hand signals that are recognized by the built-in AI.I have already used this 6-10 times and know I am only scratching the surface of what can be accomplished with the Smart X2. It has inspired some new creative ideas and I am excited about coming up with new ways to get exciting and original video content. Great product, I would highly recommend this to any aspiring vloggers, influencers, or video content creators.

For not that much less than a DJI I figured Iâd give it a shot but wow unfortunately very clunky and loud sounding Iâm not sure if itâs normal or not. Please stay away and spend the extra money on a DJI or name brand !

I really miss home camcording, there’s just something different with a camcorder in hand to a smart phone recording, but of course the quality of a phone has pretty much replaced camcorders in all but professional settings. I was so excited to use this gimbal and I think it represents a great mid point – if it isn’t clear yet I am a complete novice to gimbals and has purely been used as a way to capture family moments.Firstly it comes packaged really well, the padded foam cut out ensures its protection and is adequate that I’ve kept the box as its travel case. Instructions weren’t great, but there’s an official YouTube channel showing a complete setup tutorial and beginners guide which I highly recommend. Bar that I’ve basically spent many hours experimenting with it and getting comfortable with all the features.Long story short I love it, bar the odd tripod arrangement, I’ve used it as a camcorder really and it’s been fantastic. The motor is responsive and smooth, stabilising the shot and the onboard remote control is instant to start/stop recordings as well as zoom. The arm actually extends making it into a selfie stick when the situation calls for it – but a fantastic one as you can control the angle with the onboard motor controls. I had a whale of a time over Christmas and captured the first home video footage in over 10 years, it’s been absolutely fantastic.Priced at £79 with a 20% voucher taking it to £63.20, I think it’s the perfect entry into gimbals as they can get expensive very quickly – but it’s also beginner friendly as I’ve taken to it like a duck to water!

Die Halterung ist nur ohne Handy-Schutzhülle nutzbar. Und die Klemmbügel beschädigen die Display-Schutzfolie. Mit einer geänderten Klemmvorrichtung wäre es ein prima Gimbal-Stick.

this is the second aochuan gimbal i own and like the slightly more expensive model i had already this is a very good product.it’s well made and it works very well. the build quality is top notch and you can really tell it’s a product with some thought behind it as soon as you start to use it.it does require the app to function at it’s peak and to access a lot of features which i assume use your phone to do the number crunching and feed back simple commands to the device but there’s a whole wealth of things it can do and for a product in this price range do surprisingly well.i would recommend availing yourself of the many videos on youtube that show how each of the features is accessed and works to get started but once you know what does what the learning curve is surprisingly shallow and you should be getting some great shots in no time.

The AOCHUAN Smart X2 Gimbal Stabilizer offers impressive stabilization and a range of useful features. However, I found the initial setup to be slightly confusing, as the instruction manual lacked detailed explanations. Once set up, it performed well, but the battery life could be longer; during extended shoots, I had to recharge it or swap to a second unit sooner than anticipated. Additionally, while the built-in extension rod is handy, it feels a bit flimsy when fully extended. Despite these drawbacks, it remains a valuable addition to my go bag.
