Off-label use . . .
I purchased for protective storage and ease of carrying my computer and phone accessories. Based on size and design . . . It’s perfect! Smatree cases are sturdy, sleek design, and stylish. I can NOW conveniently carry my computer battery pack, USB mouse, cell phone turbo charger (larger plug than regular charger), ear buds in case, card reader, jet pack cellular hot spot device, fitbit charger, and multiport USB in ONE case. Yes, one carrying case for ALL items . . . I cut the inside out of the foam insert so it provides about a 1/2 inch cushion around the case’s inside perimeter. This keeps everything neatly in place, not tossing around when carrying case. The case itself protects from accidental spills or leaks from carrying beverage in back pack 🙂 and I’m not digging around in backpack trying to find an item. I carry the case inside my backpack with the computer, so when needing an item . . . I just take out the case and everything is there. It’s also an accessory “grab and go” case — The case has a handle which gives the option to carry separately if you want. Who doesn’t need that ?! There you have it . . .the perfect off-label use.

Great case, exact fit!
Got the Tello as a gift from work, and of course you give a more a cookieâ¦. So I started looking for a case. Spare batteries and a charger is a must, and this case holds that very well, also holds and extra set of props and still some room in the pocket. What did it for me was that the case is somewhat rigid or formed. Had some structure to it. Not flimsy by any means. Super light as well, and great protection for your little flyer. Would be cool if you could choose your color instead of just red, but that doesnât affect the case, so itâs more of a comment to see if the company is reading and catches the idea. ð

??? PRODUCT GOOD BUT DELEVERY NO SO.
Must say that I was waiting for this and was raining hear in sunny Arizona. Was home and do have a ring doorbell and heard a warning but my pup just went out back and sets the other warnings off often. Opened garage to look out but could not see that the carrier did deliver package but failed to ring doorbell or even knock like UPS, fed-x does. Later opened up front door and to my surprise it was hear. Checked videos and it seemed that that girl does not like to get wet as she ran but never let me know it was hear… more so on a rainy day.Sorry for rant but do not like soggy case for drone. When first opened box i loved it as is well made and well built. Duel zippers so can open from eather side, carry handle also, but has a…( forgot the name ) thing that you can attach keys or it to something also included. BUT!…. when i first opened up was shocked as it was filled with foam except the batterys were cut out. How could i put my little one in hear? and then i pulled foam out and put on my glasses and seen that the foam has been pre cut for the tello but they never removed it. I think i know why, its if one wants to use for something else they can cut to there specks like some said on hear.In all it is more than i ever expected and am very happy. The seller and product has ten stars but shipper none. Also read about others that smelled very bad and this does not. If your looking for a case get this one but take close look at solid foam as it is cut out for tello but you can mod it to whatever.

Quality Protection for Your Tello Drone
I wasn’t expecting the quality and worksmanship in a drone case for the price. The Tello drone fits snugly, perfectly in a center cutout made of a dense closed cell foam. Four batteries also fit snugly into individual cut-outs. Someone was critical of the fact that there was no room for a controller. I do have the DJI recommended GameSir T1d bluetooth controller, but no longer use it because the iPhone 8 Plus app for the Tello works much better than the physically separate controller. So, the case is perfect in size for when I carry my drone on a trip. I carry extra propellers and a Xiaomi WiFi extender in the mesh compartment which is in the lid. I can easily zipper the case closed with the props still installed on the drone without bending or putting pressure on the props. You won’t be sorry you got this case.

Tello sits nicely in the case with prop guards on or off
Smatree delivers again. I have several of their products from gopro cases to accessories. Case is a hard shell case with quality zippers and clip. Tello sits nicely in the case with prop guards on or off. Spots for 4 extra spare batteries (could hold 5 if one in the Tello itself. Zippered pouch leaves plenty of room for more batteries if you like, charging cable, my wifi repeater, etc. The only room for improvement and this is personal preference is that I would like it if the Tello actually at completely down in the foam, as it is the props are slightly higher than the foam. Again this is just a personal preference. My one concern with the case is if the top would touch the top of the propellers or not, and it does not, so all is good on that front. I would like to see a model of this case that would also hold the Gamesir T1d controller.

Good case, with room for everything you need.
The Tello definitely needs a case of some kind, and this is a good one. It has room for the Tello, 4 batteries, and there is a little mesh pouch to hold like the extra props, usb charge cable and so on. I wouldn’t call it a pelican case, but your Tello should survive normal handling if you pack it in this thing. In the normal scenario, where you want to throw the Tello into your backpack or bag and carry it somewhere, this will be what you need. Now it is not the smallest possible thing, but I like how absolutely everything except the phone is together in one place and easily accessible and organized. Also note that you can toss the empty batteries in the mesh part as you use them, and then there is no confusion as to which ones have to be charged back up when you get home.

Top quality stuff
This was 3-4 dollars more expensive than the other options, but its a great product. Build quality is excellent, the tellos drone fits in neatly and is well protected, its lightweight and easy to carry around, and there is that extra zipper compartment (we use it for extra blades). Kids loved it also
