Leaving a review because I was once a new mom trying to figure out what the heck I should purchase when it came to pumps. I have tried the Momcozy M5 (stopped working after 3 months, like many of the reviews had warned me about… of course I didn’t listen) and the M9 (while it’s MUCH quieter than the M5, the design is not intuitive; way too many parts, leaks even if you get to 4oz, and slips in my bra… just a pain overall, avoid!).I purchased the Spectra to compare with the M9 and despite the Spectra not being the most user-friendly when it comes to portability, this is the real deal. The suction is next level and I am able to pump quite a bit more than I am using the Momcozy pumps (even from the side that tends to produce less milk). One thing I did is use the flanges from the momcozy pumps with the Spectra pump and that has helped make it more comfortable. Aside from that – the charge holds well, it’s fairly quiet (I can pump in the room while baby is sleeping), and if I need to go do something I can just carry it with me. It’s a winner. I would highly recommend buying it!

Comes w/ everything you need
Well almost everything, it comes with everything you need in terms of the breast pump, charger, bottles, accessories, cooler bag, and a tote that fits everything inside. I use everything daily especially the tote for work, not have to carry things separately is nice. The bag is a little big but it’s worth it you fit everything and a little more.I’m not the biggest fan of the ice pack provided for the cooler, but I have my own so it worked out.I debated so long regarding a handless breast pump or this hospital grade. But I’m glad I went with the hospital grade, because the section on it is really good and I’ve heard that the handless pumps suction is subpar.It’s good thing about this pump is that it does hold a charge so you don’t need to keep it connected to the charger, and you can carry it around easily. Of course you’re still hooked up to it but hey you can go mobile lol.

first of all I would like to state that there are way more accessories included than what the description/picture shows.what is included:the pump2 pairs of flanges (2 different sizes)2 bottles with nipples and caps2 duckbill valves2 back flow protectors2 tubespower cordcooler bagice pack2 bottles with caps but without nipplesgrey carrying bagshoulder strapthe packaging was very nice! there was one big box. Inside the big box were each item packaged individually (the pump, the cooler, and the bag)the cooler is very sturdy and spacious. big enough for at least 4 bottles, or plenty of room for a few bottles and breast milk storage bags. I was very surprised to see that there was an ice pack and an additional 2 bottles! Though the bottles dont have nipples, they still have the stoppers and caps, which will be nice for additional breast milk storage.the grey carrying bag is a much higher quality than i was expecting so i was very pleased! it is also much larger than I was expecting. Very thick and insulated. It is very spacious and does not have an issue carrying the pump and all its accessories. It also has mesh pockets on the inside of the bag, a perfect place to store accessories without having to dig to the bottom of the bag. I would probably recommend maybe a smaller sized bag to place all the accessories in so when they are needed all you have to do is pull out 2 things (the pump and the accessory bag). I think i might buy an inexpensive makeup bag for this purpose when i am needing to transport my breast pump.The breast pump itself is very sleek looking, durable, doesnt seem delicate or like it would break easily, and is very lightweight. I weighed it on my kitchen scale and it is less than 3 pounds! the plastic is very heavy duty and is not flimsy whatsoever. there arent too many buttons so it looks very easy to use. It is a pretty good size, not too big and not too small. Id say its roughly the size of a mini watermelon or large cantaloupe. There is a spot on the back of the pump where it is able to hold a bottle. It makes the pump seem a little bigger than necessary, i may have liked the design better without this feature to have a slightly smaller pump, but there may be parts inside to which the added length was needed.I will update my review at a later time to add the functions and how well it works once i am able to use it after my baby is born.Overall this seems like an excellent made pump and i am very much looking forward to being able to use it! I havent heard any bad things about the spectra pumps and so far it seems to be holding up to its standard!
