Spirulina (Arthrospira platensis) is a filamentous planktonic cyanobacteria of a spiral form. It has a low level of cellular differentiation. The body of Spirulina is a non-branching thread in the form of a spiral. Trichomes consist of identical cells. The cell walls are not visible under a microscope light. Mucous covers are poorly developed. Trichomes are adapted to perform translational and rotational movements, but they can straighten under the influence of physical or chemical factors.

It’s real organic spirulina extract and but taste not that good but common you cannot expect good taste from everything as it’s loaded with nutrients.Moreover I say its good quality product. you can add it to smoothies it tastes great if you mix it with banana coconut and mint smoothie.

Product has changed and not for the better
This product used to be alcohol free and very effective. This new product has alcohol that you can taste and itâs awful. Additionally, the product is watered down with the alcohol and not nearly as effective. Hawaii Pharm, PLEASE go back to the original product and stop cutting corners.
